Art Nouveau style letter opener accented with a figural child's face. Made by Currier & Roby in the 1900s, and in excellent condition. It measures 6.75" long by 1" at its widest. The overall weight is 26.9g.

Outstanding sterling silver soup ladle in a repousse pattern. The design is a very finely worked pattern of roses and other flowers and foliage. The bowl is deeply lobed and has a scalloped edge. The pattern is similar to Kirk’s “Repousse”, but not identical. The back is marked “Sterling” but is not marked with a maker’s name (a frequent practice until around 1910)...

A wonderful sterling silver footed basket by Gorham. The edges are decorated in an ornate Victorian floral motif that is echoed on the handle. The scrolled feet are accented with a shell motif. An English sterling pierced mint or candy basket dated 1907. This attractive, well-made Edwardian sterling silver mint dish or basket is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1907. This 5" x 2-3/4" dish features fine openwork, it has an L&S maker's mark (for Levi and Salaman, and 1907 registry number. It weighs 32.1 grams, and it is in excellent original condition with no dents, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a very slight bend on one edge at the end...

A Webster sterling sugar basket with a cobalt liner from around 1900. This attractive American sterling silver swing handle sugar basket has the original cobalt glass liner. The 3-3/8" diameter bowl stands 3-1/2" high (6-1/8" with the handle), it has the Webster maker's mark with STERLING and the 10400 pattern number and it has a lightly engraved Gothic lettering E.T.Y monogram on the top of the handle (not shown)...

Here is a Washington- and Masonic-themed spoon which is marked STERLING F.A. WHELAN. Both sides of the bowl, the hilt, and the tip are gold washed. It has a lot of Masonic symbolism incorporated into the design. The dates on the spoon handle (1732-1799) are the birth and death dates for George Washington, who was a Mason. (He is also a main character in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s “Hamilton.” We are huge fans!) The spoon is approximately 100 years old. It measures 4-1/8", and weighs 10.9g...

Tall turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau glass decanter with engraved silver overlay. Globular bowl with cylindrical neck and everted rim. Stopper concave with faceted neck. Dense overlay. On bowl are flower heads, entwined scrolls, and trellis between double linear frames joined by beading and terminating in volute scrolls. On neck are shooting tendrils forming arches. Neck and rim in collar as is decanter neck. Glass is clear. Marked and numbered 044. Very good condition.

An elegant and rare set of nine sterling silver demitasse spoons in Whiting’s highly desirable 1898 “Pompadour” pattern. The bowls have lemony traces of the original matte gilding. The handles are ornately decorated and have never been monogrammed. The backs are marked with Whiting’s hallmark.
