Patented 1878 and marked with a C placing it between 1902-1907, this Tiffany & Co. server is made in the intricate "Olympian" pattern. The scene on the handle is "Venus Born of the Sea." It has a large shell shaped, gilded bowl. This one is not monogrammed but is in very good condition. It measures approximately 9.5" long and 3.25" across the widest portion of the bowl. It weighs 120.9 grams.

German Renaissance 800 silver wine bottle coaster, ca 1890. Round and deep well. Central rondel (vacant) in engine-turned frame radiating leaf and scroll ornament on lined ground. A very handsome sterling silver gravy ladle in John R. Wendt’s “Medallion” pattern. Wendt’s version was one of the earliest designs to use classical profiles as the primary decorative element. The medallion, depicting the goddess Pallas Athena, is supported by a reeded stem that leads to the oval bowl with flared edges. The back is stamped with the retailer’s mark for D. H. Buell & Co., and with the “925” that is often found on early Wendt pieces.
