This porcelain dessert stand or tazza was produced in France at Sevres in 1850. It has a cancellation line through the mark. The stand measures 10 ¾ inches in diameter and is 4 ½ inches high. The stand has a slight lip around the edge. It was made in two parts and is bolted together. The central design has colorful, exotic birds in a landscape scene. It is painted with fine detail. This pair of wine glasses was produced in Bohemia by Moser in the 1880s. They are 5 ¾ inches high and the diameter of the opening is 2 inches. The glasses are hand blown and have leaded content so that they ring. The glasses are hand enameled in exquisite fashion. All of the enamel is raised. Elaborate gilding fills in the spaces in between. Tiny pink roses dangle from the bottom of the bowl and down the stem. Rows of white enamel dots encircle the foot of the glasses...

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen between 1890 and 1910. It has first quality crossed swords markings under the glaze. The saucer measures 5 3/8 inches and the cup is 2 3/8 inches high. The set is made of the finest quality porcelain the Western world has known. The cup features a split twig handle. The saucer has a diameter of 5 ¾ inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The set has a unique 6 sided shape. It is hand gilded. Companies such as Rosenthal and Lamm Dresden have created similar designs. English George III era Old Sheffield silver plated meat dome cover with robust gadrooned border and removable cast acanthus leaf-form handle. The cover is adorned with a full armorial engraved into a plaque of solid sterling silver which has been let into the cover in order to prevent any underlying copper from showing through the engraved family armorial. Circa 1810-1820. Size: 14 1/2 in. length x 10 1/2 in. depth x 8 1/2 in. ht. Sterling silver fused over copper; tinned interior.

Very rare, dating circa 1820, American cut lead crystal wash basin and water pitcher set. Possibly by Bakewell Glass of Pittsburgh, the set is in excellent condition, no chips, no cracks, no repairs. The bowl measures 7.5" high x 16.25 diameter. The pitcher measures 12.5 inches high.

A shaped rectangular dark blue ground dish with extensive gilding. Birds on the four edges and moths in the corners are painted in conjunction with the gilding. Though unmarked it is typical of Mason’s of the period around 1825. 9 ½ inches (24 cm) length, 8 inches (20 cm), 13/4 inches (4.5 cm) tall.

A very well hand painted on porcelain dessert plate depicting blackberries with leaves and canes in the well of the plate. A thin band of black and gilt marks the edge of the lip which is decorated with a shaped band of grey, separated from a band of maroon band by thin lines of black and white separated by a slightly thicker band of textured gilding. The rim is gilt. Three pontil marks are in the center of the bottom of the plate and the reddish-brown transfer printed mark of a belt inscribed, ...

A molded porcelain plate with an overlapping acanthus leaf lip picked out in gilding and blue-grey. In the upper part of the well an exotic bird rests on a branch with green leaves and red berries. On the back are the gold anchor mark, pontil marks and an inventory number applied much later. Like most Chelsea of the period it is quite heavy. 8 ¼ inches (21 cm) diameter.

An exquisite example of a 19th C. Moser hand blown lime green fading to clear vase embellished with 3 rows of applied prunts, a wide diamond cut band, a plethora of gold enameled scroll work and floral designs throughout. The base or foot is softly paneled. In excellent condition, no cracks, no repairs, no chips, minimal wear to gold gilt on lip, it measures 8.5 inches high. Dates circa 1890-1910.
