This porcelain plaque or charger was produced in Germany by Meissen around 1900. It was painted by the renowned artist Professor Julius Eduard Braunsdorf who was apprenticed at Meissen 1858. A beautifully made and proportioned antique wine glass with a multiple spiral air twist (MSAT) stem. The cup bowl has honeycomb molding, and the stem has shoulder and medial knops. With good weight and tooling, this elegant glass stands tall at 6 1/2 inches, with a 2 9/16 inch bowl diameter and a 3 1/8 inch foot diameter. Conical foot with a rough, snapped pontil.
Fresh and pretty turn-of-the-century Austrian Art Nouveau 800 silver casket. Rectangular with curved sides. Cover hinged and raised with scroll tab. Chased and engraved wrapround ornament with entwined and whiplash tendrils and flower heads. Rococo scrolled corner supports. Gilt-washed interior. Marks include maker’s stamp HS. Antique marquise shaped 18K gold and chrysoberyl ring is an excellent example of Portuguese jewelry of the late 18th century. The Portuguese mined these gemstones from their colony in Brazil and created jewelry that was typically pave-set as seen here. The ring is size 10 and can be sized to fit.
Large lustre-glazed faience or majolica dish by Alfredo Santarelli in Gualdo Tadino, Deruta, Italy. Santarelli (1874-1957) took his inspiration from near-by Urbino, the birth-place of the most exquisite 16th century Renaissance maiolica. Mixing this with Hispano-Moresque lustre glaze effects he created his highly decorative Neo-Renaissance / Istoriato pieces. Early monogrammed AS signature, c 1910. This is not your typical cloisonne. The beautiful Chinese vase is one of the best quality that I have personaly owned in many years. Notice the 8 graceful cranes,chrysanthemums and other flowers. The colors are bright. I have been told that this vase is pre 1900. THERE IS NO DAMAGE ON THIS ITEM. IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION and sits on a wooden rosewood base.

The design of this sitting mat from the oasis of Khotan in East Turkestan is closely related to a larger rug published by Schürmann, which shows the same motif in a design of two compartments. – Many rewoven sections in the pile, restored ends, new overcasting along the sides.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Mintons between 1873
and 1885. This Asian inspired design was a creation of Christopher Dresser. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/8 inches. The cup is 2 3/8 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/3 inches. It is made of fine, white bone china. The factory transfer design is hand colored with bright enamels. Cranes are seen flying, wading, walking and swooping in the bamboo and reeds...

This wallpaper box in the shape of a man's stove pipe hat has a wonderful blue and mustard wallpaper with yellow brim trim. The hat box is all about looks! And the looks are from eye level up meaning that the top and the bottom of the hat box are long missing. I have used it with a print works cat sitting in it...see picture. (Sorry you have to find your own cat!) But if set on a shelf or on top of a cupboard you don't know anything is missing. As I said it has a great look...

The sides and base with enameled decoration of flowers while on the lid an elegantly dressed little gentleman is seen taking a walk in the park, behind him a pink phantasy rock, a rocaille - all in typically Rococo style. Elegant sterling silver service for tea or coffee comprised of twelve spoons and sugar tongs. The handle decoration features a simple border of beads with a shell at the tip. All are fully hallmarked, including the maker's mark "D.F.". The original velvet and silk box is stamped "Fattorini & Sons Goldsmiths Bradford."
