A superbly constructed copper weathervane of a three masted barque ship. The details and accuracy of this ship vane are amazing, with its multiple sails and rigging. This fine example was previously part of the collection at the Texaco world headquarters.

The ship, on a custom made stand, is 36" long and 32" tall, with a beautiful patina, is in excellent condition, with no flaws to speak of.

A very pretty early 20th century French silver tastevin in the style typical of Dijon in the Burgundy region of France. This style retains the usual convex base surrounded by a wreath of “perles”, but the gadrooning (“godrons”) along the side have been replaced with a decoration of very finely worked grape leaves and clusters of fruit. Offered is this set of three, iridescent, 'Favrile' glass shades, with zippered pattern, made by Quezal around 1910. All shades are signed. Each shade is 4 1/2 inches wide, 3 1/2 inches high and have the standard 2 1/4 inches fitter width. They are in very good condition - one shade has a fleabite on the fitter-rim (see picture) and there is some roughness on the fitter-rim of one shade.

The figures and crown are made of silver with parts gilded in gold. The Virgin Mary is standing on top of a column, which is supported by an alabaster marble base.Circa 1900.

A large tyg with hand painted apples and leaves with green dental banding and green dashes on the three handles. The tyg, or loving cup, is a popular form for Wemyss. Marked with impressed “WEMYSS WARE” in an arch over “R.H.&S.” 7 ½ inches tall, 87/8 inch diameter at base. Handles are about 2 ¼ inches out from the body.

Condition. No chips. There are two hairline cracks extending from the rim part of the way down the body. One handle broken off and restuck...
