A superbly constructed copper weathervane of a three masted barque ship. The details and accuracy of this ship vane are amazing, with its multiple sails and rigging. This fine example was previously part of the collection at the Texaco world headquarters.

The ship, on a custom made stand, is 36" long and 32" tall, with a beautiful patina, is in excellent condition, with no flaws to speak of.

A lovingly carved "pitch pine" Madonna by self taught Sister Josephine - one of Saint Francis Cabrini's first orphans who, according to the accompanying letter, was "close to and loved by Mother Cabrini". Mother Cabrini was the first American citizen to be canonized by the Roman Catholic Church and is the Patron Saint of Immigrants. Sister Josephine was born 1n 1877 - the same year that Mother Cabrini took her religious vows - she died, aged 101, in New York. Condition - very good...

A Large Frank Whiting Sterling Silver Water Pitcher. Given to F. R. Estabrook of Harvard on September 9, 1912 (possibly his wedding date as there is a pennant for 1910 in the Harvard Crest); engraved with his name, the names of 16 other gentlemen, a Harvard Crest with Estabrook's name over it in a ribbon and what looks to be a fraternity or club logo (a triangle with an owl and Greek letters; Phi, Delta, Psi, the original name for the Owl Club, one of the eight final clubs at Harvard)...

This is a collectible antique sterling silver luggage tag made by the Webster Company at the turn of the century consisting of a detailed valise shape, engraved 120 S. CAROL BLVD UPPER DARBY, PA., monogram E.T.T., maker's mark and Sterling on the front, measures1 7/8"L x 1 5/8" W including handle, Excellent condition.

A very pretty early 20th century French silver tastevin in the style typical of Dijon in the Burgundy region of France. This style retains the usual convex base surrounded by a wreath of “perles”, but the gadrooning (“godrons”) along the side have been replaced with a decoration of very finely worked grape leaves and clusters of fruit. The handle, also in typical Burgundian style, represents two snakes with the heads of ducks grasping the forbidden apple between their beaks...

Lovely sterling silver cream or sauce ladle in Towle's 1900 "Dubarry" pattern. The handle, decorated with a simple spray of roses at the tip, nicely complements the triangular gilt bowl. The reverse is marked with Towle's old mark and "925/1000".

Origin: America, circa 1900. Condition: excellent, no monogram. Size: 4-15/16" long.

Offered is this set of three, iridescent, 'Favrile' glass shades, with zippered pattern, made by Quezal around 1910. All shades are signed. Each shade is 4 1/2 inches wide, 3 1/2 inches high and have the standard 2 1/4 inches fitter width. They are in very good condition - one shade has a fleabite on the fitter-rim (see picture) and there is some roughness on the fitter-rim of one shade.

Handsome pair of sterling silver ice tongs in the "John Winthrop" pattern by International Silver Co. This is one of the classic American Colonial patterns developed during the early 20th century when people were first beginning to be interested in American antiques. Curiously, the simple design was also a perfect match for the upcoming Art Deco styles of the 20s and 30s. Ice tongs were an uncommon serving piece and are very difficult to find today...

17" black sock doll with shoe button eyes, flat black button nose and applied soft red floss mouth. She is stuffed firmly with rags. She has on a while slip, white pantaloons and a gray blouse with red trim. The clothes are old but not original. She bends so she sits nicely. A rock solid play doll with a red calico dress an a blue calico bonnet. She has sturdy little legs and arms. Her face is blank other than her shoe button eyes. Her arms are jointed but her legs are not. She can be persuaded to sit. She is 16" tall and circa 1900-1920 She is a very sweet played with doll.

Imposing italian porcelain Capo di Monte coffer. Borders, clasp and hinges are made of bronze. Mark on the bottom. The Capo di Monte was established in the mid. 1700's by King Charles of Naples, this explaining the "N" mark above the crown. Circa 1900.

This is a set of six Schumann Dresden style flower hand painted and transfer plates with reticulation, several faintly marked with the 1900 era mark of a Japanese copy, and lavishly decorated with courting scenes and flowers. Condition: excellent. Measurement: 6"dia.

A very good first standard (950/1000 pure) silver small-size tastevin by the highly regarded Dijon silversmith Marc Parrod. This example retains the classic round shape with a convex bottom, but the usual "godrons" and "cupules" gare replaced by repoussé grape clusters alternating with raised "perles". Each grape cluster is accented with stylized vines. Parrod was particularly noted for this unique variation...

A Sterling Silver Water Pitcher by William B. Durgin Co., Concord, NH and Retailed by Tilden-Thurber of Providence RI. Weight 27.5 oz, 4.5 pints, 8" high x 9" wide. Excellent condition. From the early 1900's.

Two antique bunny rabbits, one is a paper mache candy container and the other is a fury rabbit with moveable arms and legs and a wire that may have attached him to a basket or it stabilizes her to stand. They both are a little under 5" tall and show their age a bit. They are both as cute as can be.

A large tyg with hand painted apples and leaves with green dental banding and green dashes on the three handles. The tyg, or loving cup, is a popular form for Wemyss. Marked with impressed “WEMYSS WARE” in an arch over “R.H.&S.” 7 ½ inches tall, 87/8 inch diameter at base. Handles are about 2 ¼ inches out from the body.

Condition. No chips. There are two hairline cracks extending from the rim part of the way down the body. One handle broken off and restuck...

Beautiful handpainted Hutschenreuther porcelain plaque of Mary and Jesus. It is not artist signed, but has the Hutschenreuther crown and shield mark on the back and is of the highest quality. The plaque itself measures 6 5/8" x 5 1/8" and in its original frame it measures 12 1/4" x 9 1/2". It is in great original condition.

Wonderful Doulton Burslem pitcher trimmed with gold with lovely handpainted flowers on both the front and back. There is a fabulous gold grotesque head on the spout. It has the brown Doulton Burslem on the bottom. It measures 10" tall x 5" diameter not including the handle. This great pitcher is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.

Attractive antique sterling engraved Match Safe Case, marked W&H CO. STERLING 1, comprising a rectangular shape with engraved leaf and branch design on the front, Victorian monogram SHR, decorative engraving on back, hinged top. Nice patina of old silver.
