This set of 6 plates was produced in England by Royal Doulton in the late 19th century. They are signed by the artist, Joseph Hancock. They measure 8 7/8 inches in diameter. They are made of excellent quality bone china. The rims are scalloped. Each plate has a bird, hand painted with fine detail in its natural habitat. No white shows through. These 6 porcelain plates were produced in England by Coalport in 1818. There are no markings on any of these plates but the pattern with the embossed design is documented to have come from Coalport. The plates measure 7 1/2 inches in diameter. They are made of fine, hard paste porcelain. The plates have embossed floral decoration in high relief. These flowers are outlined with gold. A rare and elegant first period Dr. Wall Worcester cream boat. This thinly potted superb example is of vertical faceted form with a double C-scroll handle with a raised thumb rest, and is painted in blue in the Prunus Root pattern. The gnarled root depicted has flowering branches trailing around the rim and small insects, the bottom with workman mark "IH".

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Davenport between 1850 and 1870. The mark is impressed on the bottom of the saucer. The saucer is 4 7/8 inches in diameter. The cup is 1 3/4 inches tall with a diameter of 3 inches. It is made of fine bone china. The decoration is inspired by the Asian Imari pattern. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by the Royal Cauldon Porcelain manufacturer around 1900. The saucer has a diameter of 4 ¾ inches and the cup is 1 ¾ inches high. The interior of the cup and surface of the saucer are hand painted with elaborate raised gilding and tiny roses. There are gilded accents, and gold trim on the handle and rims. Condition: Excellent

A fine and early Bow porcelain Blanc de Chine thinly potted chocolate or coffee cup with raised prunus blossoms.

Excellent condition with no cracks, losses or restoration. Compared to the usual height of Bow coffee cups of this form and period, which is approximately 2 9/16", the example offered here is 5/8" taller, at 3 3/16". The bowl diameter is 3". A superb and rare piece.

A fine and relatively early example of the popular Prunus Root pattern done by Worcester between 1752 and 1770.Hand painted in blue and white, with a workman's mark on the bottom.

The bowl is in excellent condition, with no cracks, restoration, or paint loss. 4 3/4" in diameter, and 2" in height.

An extremely rare and striking c1754 Chelsea cup and saucer. The bell bowl with loop handle features a bird on a leafed branch, with several insects around the girth of the cup. The saucer is similarly decorated.

The overall condition is excellent, with clear and bright colors. Both pieces have the red anchor and stilt marks. The saucer is 5" in diameter, with the cup being 2 1/8" in height. 

Please note that the right vase does NOT tilt. It is my old mahogany leaf table with gate legs which is the culprit.

A c1753 rare and highly desirable Chelsea Raised Anchor Period octagonal tea bowl painted by Jeffrey Hamet O'Neal (also spelled Jefferyes Hammett O'Neale and other variations). Highly detailed and beautifully decorated with a man standing by a barrel, and two other men with some kind of measuring stick. A building and foliage are in the background. There are 4 insects arrayed around the exterior of cup while the interior has a central flower spray, leaves and a butterfly.

A Pair of Doulton Lambeth Candlesticks. The base is incised with the Doulton Lambeth Silicon mark. They are Clay colored with Applied Decoration in Cream and Light Blue. The height is 6.25" and they date from c. 1895. They are in excellent condition.

This is a charming example of a Champion's Bristol coffee cup, of fluted form, decorated with swags of flowers and leaves. Marked on the bottom with a blue "X" and "17" painter's number. Certainly the marks add to the value of this as opposed to it being just an attributed example.

An extremely fine and beautiful Worcester mug or tankard of Scratch Cross type. The tankard, which has a grooved strap handle, flares, or spreads, toward the bottom, a shape which evolved from the silver form popular at the beginning of the 18th century.
