This porcelain basket was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the late 19th century. It is marked with an under glaze cobalt blue crown and shield. The basket measures 9 1/4 inches across the handles, 6 1/2 inches wide and is 2 3/4 inches deep. It features entwined handles and delicate reticulation. The interior of the basket is beautifully hand painted with colorful flowers. All of the reticulation is outlined in gold inside and out. It is a sweet and fragile reminder of by-gone eras.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Copeland & Sons in 1883. The saucer measures 5 3/8 inches square and the cup is 2 inches high. It is made of fine bone china. There is embossed decoration on the cup and the saucer. It has an interesting squared off shape. The decoration is inspired by the Japanese, using traditional coloring in the Imari style. The gilding is elaborate and the decoration is finely hand painted...

A bowl and a dish, slop bowl and stand, part of a tea service. Soft porcelain, made in Staffordshire around 1840. Pink luster geometric border pattern with flowers in reserves and enamelling in green, with some red and gilt. Diameter of bowl "6/ 15.3 cm, height "3/ 7.5 cm, diameter of dish "7 ½ / 19.5 cm. Condition: a hairline to the bowl and an old restoration to the border of the dish (cf. pics).

Two(2) Victorian English Staffordshire Charles Meigh "Indian Stone China" Soup Plates, 10 1/2" diameter with fluted rim, 2" high, impressed mark on the bottom, the condition is good, no damages.

A delightful Bennington-type yellowware cow creamer with mottled brown glaze. The cow stands on a concave oval base. This example is more nicely potted than some, with good detailing in the ribcage area and a quirky facial expression. These creamers were made in both America and England, but the style of modelling suggests this is an American example. The tail has been reglued nicely, and a professional restorer could make the repair completely invisible.

Old Paris Porcelain Pitcher, circa 1850. White with Gilt Trim, with some wear to the Gilt, otherwise in very good condition. Dimensions 10" high x 9" handle to spout.

A Minton's Indian Tree platter, transfer printed in a sparkling famille rose palette, year mark for 1843, pattern number 1482. This classical pattern was first introduced by Minton’s, around 1840. Width: 14 1/4" / 36,5 cm. Condition: hairlines to one side and some wear to the decorated surface.

An Early Victorian Copper Lustre Pitcher, with the "Dancing Ladies" design; circa 1850. Dimensions 7" high x 4.25" at base. Some age, but in very good condition.

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Mintons in the late 19th century. The date markings are obscured so it is not possible to specify the year. It is signed by the renowned artist, Antonin Boullimier, trained at the Sevres Porcelain Manufactory. The plate is 9 ½” in diameter. The blank is made of fine, white bone china with a reticulated border. The center of the plate has a hand painted scene of a sweet girl, sitting on a log, dangling her feet over a lily pond...

American stoneware 2 gallon ovoid jug by Cowden and Wilcox, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Circa 1865. Decorated with hand painted cobalt blue floral spray. Size: 14 in. ht. Very minor flake to top rim and a tight firing line to one side of top of handled (not damage but made during manufacturing) and fine tiny burst bubbles in cobalt glaze, also part of manufacturing process. This pair of porcelain plates were produced in England by Cauldon in the 1890s. They were produced especially for Bailey, Banks & Biddle of Philadelphia. The porcelain is fine bone china. They measure 8 3/4” in diameter. The ground color is ruby red, overlaid with tiny gilded flower buds. The heavy gold borders are accented with bright colored flowers in heavy enamel. You can feel the enameling with your finger tips...

This pair of porcelain goblets or chalices was produced in England by Royal Worcester in the late 1870s. The mark goes off the edge of the porcelain not showing the date letter assigned to the year they were produced. The famous Worcester artisan, George Owen, was the first to perfect the art of double walled porcelain. The chalices are 7 ¾ inches high with a diameter of 3 5/8 inches at the opening. The outer layer of porcelain on the bodies is delicately pierced in honeycomb fashion...
