A fine and early Worcester patty pan, painted in underglaze blue with the "Bare Tree and Speared Bird" pattern, with trailing leaf sprays on the exterior and a painter's mark on the bottom. This pattern appears to only have been used on patty pans, and is also the only other pattern, aside from the full "Mansfield" pattern, that has a "Mansfield" pattern border.

More important is that the patty pan with this pattern, uncommon in itself, was made in two forms...

Words can hardly describe this spectacular Art Pottery centerbowl, made by Amphora Work Riessner, Turn-Teplitz, Bohemia, with the 1918-1939 Riessner company mark ); also marked 20122, 43, and C. The large ivory basketweave bowl with delicate applied flowers is supported by beautifully modeled figures of a boy and girl in pastel drape. Condition: Restored; very minor _ in. hairline crack in boy’s hair, firing crack on base. Measurement: 14 _ in. diam x 11 _ in. high.

A Pair of lobed dinner plates 9 3/8 inches (23.8 cm) diameter with a dentil gilt edge and overall sprig decoration. The cornflower sprigs are primarily blue and green with a touch of red. Both plates have the crossed torches in underglaze blue. The factory, Locre, Russinger, Pouyat is called Locre or sometime La Courtille. It was active from 1773-1824.

Condition: No chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs...

A very nice blue and white Chinese export porcelain plate in the Fitzhugh pattern. The central reserve is surrounded by a complimentary design in the four quadrants, all enclosed in a diapered border. The blue color is very intense and the porcelain body has a good, clear white color. The execution of the painted design suggests that the plate dates from the first quarter of the 19th century.

Origin: China, ca. 1810. Condition: excellent, no chips or cracks. Size: 8-5/16” diameter.

Humorous Staffordshire Pottery "Admiral Nelson" Pitcher moulded in the form of Lord Nelson (but missing the wrong arm) with a rather strategically placed spout, and a Rockingham mottled brown glaze. Probably English, circa 1850.

Black-glazed English cup and saucer with floral decoration in raised enamels, Victorian, c 1850-70. The glaze is named after Jackfield, a town in Shropshire where pottery with a jet black shiny glaze first was produced in the 18th century. This porcelain bowl was produced in France by Bawo & Dotter Limoges, often called Elite Limoges, around 1900. It has two marks indicating that it was factory decorated. The bowl measures 10 inches in diameter and is 3 3/4 inches high. It has a scalloped rim and foot. There are little flowers molded in high relief around the rim. The decoration is hand painted. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Austria by Ernst Wahliss around 1900. The saucer has a diameter of 6 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The set is quatrefoil in shape. The porcelain is highly translucent. It is decorated with delicate gilding, matte gold and shiny gold, reminiscent of Russian enamel work. The set is made of fine, white bone china. It has a quatrefoil shape. There are cobalt blue panels with raised gold decoration. Garlands of tiny red roses accent this decoration. There is lots of beaded gold trim. The rims and handle are trimmed with gold. Condition: Excellent

Glorious Chinese antique green Ishing square tubular shaped planter with precise bamboo design and impressed calligraphy. Impressed carouche stamp on bottom. Good condition.

Nice 6” plate in the “Horse Chestnut” pattern by Dedham Pottery. The crackling is very even and the blue has medium intensity. The back has both the ink stamp and the incised rabbit mark.

Origin: America, 1896-1928. Condition: a hairline visible on the back; a few small roughnesses along the edges from plate hangers. Size: 6” diameter.

A luscious bud vase in the Onion Bulb shape 645, enameled in mulberry and blue. The vase was designed in 1907 by Emma Kinkead. The underside is incised with the logo and name of Van Briggle and Colo Spgs for Colorado Springs. Very good condition with 3 very small glaze specks at the base which are noted in a picture. The vase dates to early 20th C. Dimensions: 3.5" w, 3.25" d, 4.25" h. The vase has very small glaze flakes near the base. Otherwise it is in very good condition.
