An important antique drinking glass, a beautiful tall Newcastle light baluster (NLB), featuring the Dutch engraved coat of arms of Kurt Christof, Count von Schwerin. The engraved border has a pair of sitting doves, foliage, and a single dove about to take flight. The large pointed round funnel bowl sits atop an inverted baluster knop, above an angular knop, which in turn is above a true baluster knop...

A rare and beautiful double series opaque twist wine glass. The bowl, of uncommon tulip form, sits atop a stem containing two heavy spiral threads around a central gauze. What makes this glass rare, aside from the bowl shape, is that, opposed to being conical, as is usually the case, the foot is domed, a feature very rarely found on opaque twist glasses.

This fine example is 6 1/8" tall, with a bowl diameter of 2 7/16", and a foot diameter of 2 5/8"...

A rare and beautiful sweetmeat with a double ogee bowl with an everted rim. The bowl is atop a set of 3 merises, below which is an opalescent stem with a double series opaque twist (dsot) composed of a 17 ply spiral band around a lace twist. At the bottom of the stem is a nicely domed and folded foot.

The glass is in overall excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or restoration. There is a tiny 1/16" inclusion in the side of the bowl, not at all uncommon and truly of no importance...

A beautifully executed English lead wine glass with a round funnel bowl engraved and polished with a butterfly, grapes, and vines. A straight hollow stem leads to a domed and folded foot with a rough pontil. An almost identical example is shown in Plate 78g of Haynes.

Three perfume bottles: a green and white opaline overlay, cut and gilt bottle, an English white opaline and painted bottle and a brown clear glass bottle, cut and decorated in gilt. All three late 19th century, the first and last probably Bohemian. Height "3 ½ - 5 ¼ / 9 – 13 cm. No stoppers. Condition of all three: fine.

Offered is this rare antique opaline glass perfume bottle with a serpentine rigaree. The hand-painted bottle is 6 1/2 inches (16,5 cm) tall and 3 3/4 inches (9,5 cm) wide at the bottom. It is in good condition except for a small flake on the rigaree (see last picture). Polished pontil. Unsigned - most likely made by Baccarat of France.

A classic Sandwich glass hyacinth vase in a rich teal shade. The vase is entirely hand blown and shows the traces of hand marvering. The deeply concave base has a rough pontil and a basal ring showing the expected wear. Hyacinth vases, sometimes called tuplip vases or bulb vases, were used to force flowering bulbs for wintertime blooms indoors. They were quite the rage and some Victorian homes had numbers of vases arrayed on windowsills. Pieces by Sandwich are uncommon...

Early flint glass water goblet on round foot with thin stem rising to cylindrical bowl wheel etched with flowers and leaves. Excellent condition.

The goblet belonged to the collection of Lenna Gertrude Clarke Judd (1865 - 1939) who moved from New York City in 1903 to Dalton, Georgia where she became a well respected philanthropist through out the sate. We have the complete provenance from Mrs Judd down to the present.

A deep cobalt blue salt or sweetmeat, probably of German origin. The bowl has a silvered everted rim with silver leaf decoration and is above an inverted baluster stem. Rough pontil. No condition problems, and with a maximum diameter of 4" and a height of 3 1/2".

This is a very beautiful set of seven crystal goblets manufactured by the prestigious Bohemian firm Josephinenhutte between 1880-1890, delicately enameled with a scroll and ribbon design in two shades of gold centered with clusters of lucious purple grapes, gold number painted underneath foot; 5 1/2 in H, pristine.

A beautiful set of five green-to-clear glass vases, made by Moser around 1885. The vases have beautifully-cut art nouveau floral decor. All vases have polished pontils. The vases have been examined under black-light: there are no cracks in the vases. Alas, there are some chips in the vases (the worst two shown in the last two pictures). Each vase is 3 3/4 inches (9,5 cm) tall and 1 1/4 inches (3,2 cm) wide at base. Though unsigned, the vases are guaranteed to have been made by Moser.

This crystal vase was produced in Bohemia by Moser in the 1880s. It is 12 inches long and 9 inches high. The glass has a lead content and rings when tapped. It is hand blown and has applied glass features. It is formed in the shape of a cornucopia. The glass is dark, sea green. The entire body of the vase is covered with intricate enameled decoration. The flowers and ornamental swags in vivid raised enamels are completely done by hand...

Exceptional Moser cut to clear 6 sided cranberry red stem glass. Each panel has a raised hand cut medallion. 5 medallions feature finely hand cut and gold gilded bouquets of different flowers. The 6th is monogrammed. Probably used as a wine glass, this is truly an amazing work of art. Dates around 1910, and measures 5.25 inches high.

An ornate Bohemian glass box with jewels, made by Moser around 1885. The green-colored box is 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) wide and 2 3/4 inches (7 cm) high. It has yellow/amber colored jewels on it. The hinge opens and closes fine. Except for a missing jewel / chip on the top (see last picture), the box is in very good condition. A beautiful pair of antique wine glasses of the light baluster form. Although these are smaller than the usual form for a Newcastle light baluster, the proportion of the pointed round funnel bowls to the stems suggests that they are, in fact, an uncommon pair of NLB's. The bowls have engraved foliate borders, each stem with a shoulder knop, a medial angular knop, and a basal true baluster knop. Gently domed folded feet with rough snapped pontils.

This glass bowl and under plate was produced in Bohemia, now the Czech Republic, by the Moser Glass Studio in the 1880s. The under plate measures 7 inches in diameter. A beautiful, tall, hand-painted pokal, made probably by Fritz Heckert or Joseph Ahne. The pokal depicts a lady-rider on a horse. Offered is this beautiful Bohemian Moser glass dish with tooled-rim. The dish is 6 inches (15 cm) wide. The dish is made on an aqua-to-clear glass blank. It has a polished pontil and is in very good condition. Though unsigned, it is guaranteed to have been made by Moser - according to Gary Baldwin, tooled rims of the type present on this dish, "to date, have only been found on Moser decorated glass" (reference: page 85 of his book, 'Moser Artistic Glass Edition Two').

This is a beautiful, French cameo glass vase, made by DeVez, a contemporary of Daum Freres of Nancy, France. The banjo vase is 6 1/4 inches (16 cm) tall. The vase is in excellent condition (there is a fabrication flaw on the top rim of the vase, typical of hand-made items - see last picture). Polished pontil.

Art Noveau red cameo glass stick vase by French designer Emile Galle. The color is an unusual off white with a red overlay. It is a wonderful feeling hold and study a vase made by such a great and innovative designer. In excellent antique condition, it measures 5.5 inches high and approximately 4" in diameter at widest.

This is a large, signed Crown Milano glass jar/jardiniere made by Mt Washington. It is an exceptionally large jar: it is 10 3/4 inches wide and 8 1/4 inches high. The jar is in excellent condition - no chips, cracks or repairs (there is some expected, age-appropriate fading to the paint). It is signed in its polished pontil.

A nice English double series opaque twist (DSOT) wine glass, c 1765. This glass features a flared bucket bowl over a stem containing a 12 ply spiral band ouside of a pair of spiral tapes. The conical foot has a rough, snapped pontil.

The height is 6 1/2 inches, the bowl diameter is 2 3/4 inches, and the foot diameter is 3 1/16 inches. No repairs or condition problems.

Presented is this beautiful, iridescent Loetz glass lamp. The glass is in Loetz's 'Ausfuhrung 226' decor (please refer to page 263 of Ricke's book, Loetz Bohemian Glass 1880-1940' for this decor). A fine glass cocktail shaker by Hawkes. The glass blank is blown in an optic paneled style and highlighted with gilding at the neck. The body is beautifully enameled with a colorful rooster and the reverse side is engraved with the recipe for a "Bronx" cocktail. The stopper is finished with floral intaglio engraving.
