A 1-3/8" wide and 1-1/2" across the interior sterling silver napkin ring c1900-20. This table decoration has a JLR script monogram, it is stamped with the Roden sterling mark and it weighs 21.9 grams. It is in good condition with no corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than two dents and some slight out-of-roundedness. Sterling silver grapefruit spoon in Whiting's popular 1909 "Madam Jumel" pattern. The back is marked with Whiting's hallmark, the patent date, and the letter "T" indicating the weight.

Origin: America, circa 1909. Condition: very good except for a small ding at the edge of the bowl, sharp detail on handle, period monogram "P". Size: 5-1/2" long.

A Tall (9 1/4") Shreve & Co. Sterling Silver Golf Trophy. Created by the Renowned San Francisco firm for the Pacific Golf Association in Seattle, Washington in 1909. Very good condition, does show some tarnish. Fine example.

Japonesque mixed metal copper tray. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1882. Lobed and rectangular with curved sides. Applied copper and silver ornament: Tree with blossoming branches and sinuous irregular trunk rooted in granulated soil; above a butterfly and bird. Ground engraved with wild grass in foreground and hills in background. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, no. B75, and date letter. Good condition with some spotting to copper.

Super snazzy sterling silver cocktail shaker. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1929. Gently curved and upward tapering sides and flat cover with same-form finial. Bracket handle. Stubby spout with chained cap. Built-in strainer. A late prohibition-era Art Deco classic. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 21374 (first produced in 1929), and director’s letter m. Very good condition.

Outstanding sterling silver soup ladle in a repousse pattern. The design is a very finely worked pattern of roses and other flowers and foliage. The bowl is deeply lobed and has a scalloped edge. The pattern is similar to Kirk’s “Repousse”, but not identical. The back is marked “Sterling” but is not marked with a maker’s name (a frequent practice until around 1910)...

Very unusual Victorian sterling silver grapefruit spoon with a wonderful plique-a-jour enamel assymetrical handle decorated in six shades of translucent enamel. It is quite unusual for plique-a-jour enamel to have been used on a grapefruit spoon, as it was so fragile that it was usually reserved for more delicate pieces like demitasse spoons. The back is marked with Imperial Austrian marks in use 1866-1922.

A vintage late Victorian period American sterling silver salver or tray c1880-1900. This 7-3/4" x 6-3/4" tray has a high relief edge and a central fancy monogram. It is stamped with the Howard Sterling Co. mark (Providence, Rhode Island 1878-1902) and the BARTENS & RICE retailer's mark (1875-1909)...

A Shreve & Co. Sterling Silver Pedestal with attached Satsuma Porcelain Bowl. Hand hammered base with initial "S". Measures about 7 3/4" tall, 5 1/8" across at top. Have left patina on base, buyer can decide about polishing. Fine example.

A very fine berry or casserole spoon in John R. Wendt's "Medallion" pattern. The handle features an oval reserve centered with a medallion profile of the Greek goddess Pallas Athena. The elongated bowl is beautifully scalloped. The back of the medallion has a period monogram "A" and the stem is marked with the retailer's mark for Ball, Black & Co. and with "925" for sterling. Wendt did not use his own hallmark in this period.

A Georgian sterling silver large footed master salt dish dated 1817. This simply splendid high quality English Georgian silver open salt dish is fully hallmarked for London 1817. This 3-5/8" diameter and 1-7/8" high bowl has fine high relief and rather unusual rim decoration of a lion head alternating with a shell, surrounded by flowers, with ornate floral feet. It retains the original gilding on the bowl as well. It is stamped with the maker's mark for William Elliot or William Eaton of London...

Century sterling silver fish serving pair. Made by Dominick & Haff in New York, ca 1900. Each: Threaded and tapering stem with scroll and shell terminal. The slice has a scroll shaped blade. The fork has shaped shank and four scrolled tines. Edwardian Classicism for the new century. Fully marked including maker’s and retailer’s (Hansel, Sloan & Co.) stamps, and patent year (1900). Very good condition.

Gilt-washed interior. A beautiful early piece in the celebrated Beaux-Arts pattern that was conceived by French designer F. Antoine ...
