A Very fine George III Sterling Silver Soup Ladle, by Richard Crossley and assayed in London in 1791. Old English Pattern with Feather Edges. It is 13" long, with a bowl diameter of 3.5", and weighs 6.4 Troy ounces. Clear hallmarks and no monogram or other mark. Excellent condition.

A Sheffield plate helmet style cream jug circa 1780-1800. This 5" high genuine cream pitcher predates electroplating and it consists of thin layers of silver laid on to copper sheets; the sandwich of metals is then formed into the desired object. This unsigned creamer is in good original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs; it has the expected areas of copper blush from polishing over the last couple of centuries...

This antique serving spoon from the Georgian era has a berry motif in the gold-washed interior of the bowl (the wash is very pale and doesn’t show up in the photos). By its hallmarks, it was made in London during 1768-1769. The maker’s mark is a script “BB”. It measures 8-1/2" x 1-3/4", and weighs approximately 56g. So beautiful! Gilt George III sterling silver serving spoon with gadrooned edges and a beautifully scalloped bowl. Spoons that are completely gilt are quite rare. The reverse is hallmarked for London, 1784. The maker’s mark is barely visible and is illegible.
