Exquisite sterling silver figurines of a Duke and Duchess with finely carved ivory heads. Made in Germany in 1908 (English Chester Import Mark) by Berthold Muller. The figures are hand chased and features an incredible attention to detail with Duke in armor and the Duchess a gorgeous dress. Both are wearing ducal coronets and each is mounted on a square cut cornered pierced base featuring a leaf and vine motif. Fully hallmarked, they measure 8.5 inches high...

JB is presumably James Bogert, who made many pieces for Ball, Tompkins and Black, as well as its predecessor Marquand. The Tea Set dates from 1839-1851, the date of the partnership. The name "I. Cover hinged and domed with bud finial and plain and scrolled overhanging rim. Foot rim and supports applied with alternating flower head and leaf pattern. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 11133, and director’s letter T (1892-1902). Very good condition with nice toning.

Large Dutch silver cow creamer, 1910. A sweet beast with stocky body on slender legs and delicate hoofs. Head quizzically turned to side with flexed ears, sharp horns, red cabochon glass eyes, and gaping mouth spout. Flicked back tail handle and hinged back cover. Appears to be unmarked.
