This tea kettle / tea pot was made by the Southington Silver Company Ca 1900. It is quadruplated by Gerssmt.

The stand and kettle have the #2104 marked on the bottom.

The swing handle has the initial FWC engraved.

My picture #4 shows the only place where where I see any wear.

The pin for the hinge on the wick cover needs to be replaced.

It is in spectacular shape for its age.

English Georgian sterling silver salver, 1727. Square with molded rim and curvilinear corners. Engraved armorial in well center. Rests on 4 corner hoof supports. Substantial with nice heft from the year the first Hanoverian king George I died and was succeeded by his son George II. A really nice piece of native craftsmanship from the early years of the German ascension. Worn marks including London assay stamp. Very good condition.

Ca 1920 A wonderful set liqueur cups with etched silver plate holders. The cups are also etched with various designs. Three holders have a daisy and bud motif, four feature holly leaves while the remaining four have bamboo. One glass insert has a rough rim, another has a crack ( see photos) and some of the holders have dark spots inside the plate. 1-1/4"(h) x 1-5/8"(w). Sold as is.

A decorative silverplated footed and handled candy basket with the original glass liner c1900. This 6-1/2" tall server is 5-1/2" across, it has an openwork window-style design and pierced handle, and it is stamped with the Canadian Meriden mark with an 1890 pattern number. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

Turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau sterling silver mirror. Made by Lebkuecher in Newark. Two bracket supports joined by concave and crisscrossing stretchers. Hinged swing oval frame inset with beveled glass. Dense and fluid engraved scrolls, leaves, and flowers on lined ground. Each support has shaped cartouche (vacant). This is a Victorian sterling silver ladle made by The Whiting Co., circa 1900, the shaped oval bowl scalloped with a flared rim in a stylized petal pattern, rope twist handle flattened at the top for easy gripping, monogram on back DG, marker's mark, Sterling, 9 and 5, 7 1/4 " L, Excellent condition.

Large Art Nouveau glass cologne with engraved silver overlay. Made by Gorham in Providence, ca 1910. Globular with short neck and everted rim in silver collar. Ball stopper. Symmetrical overlay in fluid whiplash tendrils and stylized leaves and flowerheads. Elongated oval frame engraved with shaded single-letter (B). Glass is red. A Scottish Footed Silver Bowl, probably used for Sugar. The Marks are rubbed, but it is likely Glasgow, with maker probably Alexander Gairdner c. 1777. Dimensions; 4.75" diameter x ;5" high x 3.5" diameter at foot; weight, a heavy 9.6 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

Sterling silver sugar spoon in Whiting's 1891 "Louis XV" pattern. The spade-shaped bowl is slightly scalloped at the neck for decorative appeal. The back is stamped with Whiting's hallmark, the patent date (indicating an older piece) and the retailer's mark "A. Stowell & Co." (Baltimore).

A large and elegant European silver goblet of modern design by Wilhelm Binder of Schwabisch Gmund (Germany), established in 1869. This goblet apparently dates c1900-10. It measures 8-3/4" (24cm) in height, and measures 4-1/4" (just under 11 cm) across the rim. It weighs approximately 227 grams. It is stamped with the German post-1886 crescent moon and crown mark, 835 WTB and has a company number of 73123 and a small punch mark we could not make out...

Description: Highly collectible and finely executed hand made sterling silver snuff box, From southeast India most likely Burmese, early 19th century and designed fabulously.
