This is a solid silver plate with an engraved Islamic design from Egypt. The plate has a sloping scalloped rim and features an eight-point star called "Khatim Sulayman" in the center, formed by two overlapping squares.

The star's center is engraved with Arabic writing and surrounded by a band of eight cartouches with calligraphic Arabic characters...

The front features a scene of a sloop in roiling waves passing a lighthouse in the background. The scene is surrounded by a border of seashells and seaweed, and a bare-breasted mermaid watches from one of the lower corners. A Boxed Set of Four Sterling Silver Napkin Rings by the Noted Victorian Silversmith Hilliard and Thomason and Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1876. The rings are in the shape of a cuff, with buttons and button holes. Maker mark "H & T". Dimensions; 1.75" in diameter x 1.25" high. Weight 4 ounces in total. The rings are in excellent condition, but the box is damaged.

Rare sterling silver hand hammered snuff box. Fully hallmarked on the inside. Can be monogrammed. Made in Chester, England by Cornelius Saunders & Frank Shepherd it dates 1910. The box is in excellent condition, it measures 2 inches diameter.

Oval silver box and lid of tea caddy shape, the knop of the lid a natural oval stone, probably veined gneiss. Engraved Georgian style borders and crest, the crest with a dedication, “From Steanis”, a gift in Georgian style and probably made around 1900. The box is unmarked and has been tested as sterling silver. Its weight is 798 grams. Length "7 ¼ / 18.5 cm, height including the knob "4 ¾ / 12cm. Condition: a few scratch marks around the crest and a minimal dent to the backside (cf. pics)...

Russian 875 silver ladle, ca 1880. Oval bowl and fiddle terminal with engraved initials and year 1881. A nice serving piece from the twilight of tsarist Russia. Marks include maker’s (PA) stamp and Moscow assayer’s (Aleksandr Nicolayevich Krollau) stamp dated 1880. Very good condition with nice patina.
