A very pretty early 20th century French silver tastevin in the style typical of Dijon in the Burgundy region of France. An Italian "800" Silver Ewer and Underplate (or basin) with Mounted Carnelians on Each Piece. From Milano, Italy, late 19th century. Excellent condition and Very elegant. Dimensions; ewer 4.5" high, underplate 5" in diameter.

Patented 1878 and marked with a T dating it from 1891-1902, this server by Tiffany & Co. is done in the "Olympian" pattern. The scene depicted on the handle is "Venus born of the sea." The bottom portion is gilded on both the front and back. The intricate work continues to the face on the back of the handle and it is monogrammed at the top (please see picture # 8). It measures approximately 11.25" long and 3" at its widest. It is in excellent condition, and the overall weight is 205.3 grams.

CALDWELL & (the rest of the punch missing) PATENT.” The front of the handle decorated with a long tailed bird (Jay?) in foliage. On the back is more foliage, the marks, and the engraved initial “F.” Approx. 7 inches long. Approx. 60 grams. Condition: Some wear. Decoration still crisp. J.E. Caldwell were a major Philadelphia maker and retailer.
