Dating to the late 19th-early 20th century, this condiment set has the 2-1/2" high pepper shaker, the 1-1/4" high open salt dish and the 2-1/4" high lidded mustard pot with handle. What makes this set exceptional is the presence of very high relief applied spiders being chased by lizards...

A very rare and superb hand made genuine QING DYNASTY SILVER BOWL, with extensive open carving work and depicting the Dragons chasing the flaming Pearl. The base is stamped by a Chinese Hallmark: "SS, followed by a Chinese Character and 90, SUN SHING" as shown in one of the photographs, ca. 1900. Weight: 199 gr. excluding the inset glass bowl.
