This pretty floral spoon, by the well-known Unger Brothers, is signed with their maker’s mark, hallmark, and “COPYRIGHT 1904”. The pattern is Jonquil, which is the flower for those born in March, representing friendship and happiness. The spoon measures 4-1/2”, and the bowl of the spoon is a little bit under 2” across. Turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau glass flask with engraved silver overlay. Flat with curved sides. Overlay in form of grain stalks and fruiting grapevine. Asymmetrical cartouche engraved with script monogram. Silver neck collar and hinged and cork-lined cover. Glass is clear. Lady’s medicinal size. Can be held in one small gloved hand. Marked “Sterling” and numbered “232”. Excellent condition.

Applied ornaments include windmill, pipe-smoking peasant, and running dogs. Shaded brown and cream glaze. A homely piece in the Dutch style. Fully marked on underside and collar. Edwardian Art Nouveau sterling silver picture frame. Made by William Aitken in Birmingham in 1905. Rectangular window in shaped scrolled surround mounted to stained wood with hinged support. Chased Japonesque ornament—cranes, cattails, and lily pads in rippling water—as well as whiplash tendrils. The perfect showcase for a free-spirited boho forebear. Fully marked. Very good condition.

Classical coin silver christening mug. Made by Tifft & Whiting in North Attleboro, Mass., ca 1850. Straight and tapering sides with beaded rims. Three names and 3 birthyears (1851, 1877, and 1908) engraved in leafing scrolled frame. Leaf-capped s-scroll handle. Maker’s stamp and phrase “Pure Silver Coin”. Good condition with attractive period wear and nicely sunk engraving.
