An set of twelve English sterling silver coffee spoons and a matching sugar tong in an elegant rococo pattern by silversmith Joseph Rodgers. The handles are lightly monogramed with an “H.” The bowls are a bit larger than typical demitasse spoons, so they could easily be used for tea service, as well. Imagine this little guy hopping across your table providing everyone with salt or pepper! He is intricately detailed all the way down to his feet. His head unscrews to refill salt or pepper. He stands up well and does not wobble. He is marked "800" on his tail and was probably made sometime around 1910. He measures approximately 3" long and 2.5" tall and is in excellent condition.

A very handsome sterling silver gravy ladle in John R. Wendt’s “Medallion” pattern. Wendt’s version was one of the earliest designs to use classical profiles as the primary decorative element. The medallion, depicting the goddess Pallas Athena, is supported by a reeded stem that leads to the oval bowl with flared edges. The back is stamped with the retailer’s mark for D. H. Buell & Co., and with the “925” that is often found on early Wendt pieces.

Very pretty hand chased sterling basket by Whiting Mfg. Co. Basket measures 3 3/4" wide and 2 3/8" tall ( excluding the handle). This Aesthetic Movement basket has a lovely detailed foliate motif (morning glory?), a fluted rim, and a gilded interior. The twisted handle is attached to a beautiful curved silver application and rests on the side of the basket. There is a monogram on the back. Circa 1870. Excellent condition.

A Very fine George III Sterling Silver Soup Ladle, by Richard Crossley and assayed in London in 1791. Old English Pattern with Feather Edges. It is 13" long, with a bowl diameter of 3.5", and weighs 6.4 Troy ounces. Clear hallmarks and no monogram or other mark. Excellent condition.

A Rare Jenkins & Jenkins (noted Baltimore Silversmiths) Sterling Silver Footed Cake Stand or Tazza, with a Floral Repousse Design on the 3" border. Circa 1908-1915. Dimensions; 10" diameter x 1 5/8" high; weight 13.7 Troy ounces. Script monogram in center (LBH?). Excellent condition.

Rare English, circa 1824, footed Georgian christening mug with a foliate capped double scroll handle. The body is chased and embossed with rose and leaf motif. In excellent condition, it measures about 3 3/8th high b 2 3/4" diameter at the mouth. Hallmarked.

Continental Silver Tobacco Box, 18th century-style, crafted most likely end of 19th century, bearing unidentified marks, oval, the hinged cover with repousse scene of a shepherd and shepherdess beneath a tree, the base with bands of beading and laurel, lg. 4 3/8 in., approx. 4.8 troy oz. Condition Report; Likely a married piece, the cover of a lower purity silver than the base. Hinge applied crudely.

Two sterling silver dresser items. Includes: 1) Gorham Sterling oblong dresser box. Monogrammed in reserve on lid "GMS". Marked underneath for Gorham, "Sterling", and "B19". 5" x 1-1/2" wide. 2) Sterling tray marked with an "L" in a triangle and "Sterling". Possibly La Pierre. 6" x 2-3/4". Approximately 3.69 troy ounces total. CONDITION: Light surface scratches from use.

A Matched Set of Six Sterling Silver Georgian Dessert Spoons; Hallmarked in London, 1772, with the makers mark of WF, for William Fearn. The pattern is Old English with feather edges Dimensions 6.75", weight 7.3 T ounces. Bottom struck marks at narrow part of the stem, typical of the time, but somewhat indistinct. In excellent condition.

Antique American sterling silver christening cup by the Whiting Manufacturing Company, circa 1890. This elegant large cup has a slightly waited body with a soft, warm finish that has never been monogrammed. In excellent original condition it measures 3.5" tall and 3" diameter at the base.
