Spoon with engraved N has year marks for 1841 and makers mark GA for George William Adams, engraved JJH 1842, makers mark RB for Richard Britton and AVW 1829, makers mark JH for Jonathan Hayne. An unusual unmarked (but tested) Egyptian sterling salt spoon with a dhow and palm tree niello enamel scene on the handle. Niello is a process where black enamel is applied and fired onto a hollowed out scene. This wonderfully ornate Victorian period set consists of the 10" x 3-7/8" mirror, the 9-3/8" x 2-1/2" brush with natural bristles, and the 7-5/8" long comb. Each is hallmarked for Birmingham, England and they have the Thomas Hayes maker's mark; the brush year hallmark is 1890, the comb year hallmark is 1898 and the mirror year hallmark is 1900...

An Indonesian Yogya solid silver belt buckle from 1900 or earlier. This beautifully hand tooled openwork buckle measures 4-1/2 x 2-7/8" when the two halves are attached with their hook and eye clasp. They have one belt retention bar each and it is unsigned but tests as high grade silver.
