18th century hand chased Georgian silver toddy ladle embossed with festoons, birds, flowers and a shield bearing the beautifully engraved initials "EC". These ladles were used to serve toddy from a serving rummer or punch bowl and ideal for warming brandy. The twisted whalebone handle affords a better grip and has a silver end cap. In excellent condition,just needs a little polishing, it measures 13 inches long; bowl measures 2.5" diameter, 1.25" deep. Circa 1770

This elegant brush has repousse decorations depicting Art Nouveau lilies on the top, and fancy swirls on the handle. It measures 5-3/4” x 3". It is stamped Sterling, and there are other, illegible, marks. There is a little bit of damage to the silver at the top of the brush, which is exaggerated by the photos. A very nice sterling silver pincushion and sewing box by Tiffany & Co. The pierced sterling silver walls enclose a sewing box (or jewelry box) with two hinged tops that serve as pincushions. The current dark purple velvet is a replacement, but is placed over the original box structure. The pierced handle has an area that can be monogrammed (never been monogrammed). The whole is raised on bun feet. The bottom is marked with the Tiffany hallmark in use 1902-07.

Originally made for fruit circa 1860, today this antique Coin Silver folding knife might become a handy tool for another use. Small and lightweight, one side of the delicate silver engraved handle is monogrammed in script CGT, the other side awaits the initials of a new owner. One fairly sharp blade marked COIN and the other blade used for picking seeds or as a toothpick. The blade can be sharpened to hold an edge that can cut anything easily. A very fine berry or casserole spoon in John R. Wendt's "Medallion" pattern. The handle features an oval reserve centered with a medallion profile of the Greek goddess Pallas Athena. The elongated bowl is beautifully scalloped. The back of the medallion has a period monogram "A" and the stem is marked with the retailer's mark for Ball, Black & Co. and with "925" for sterling. Wendt did not use his own hallmark in this period.

Early American coin silver chamberstick, probably upstate New York, Albany area. Circa: 1800-1820. This heavy chamberstick bears unidentified pseudo-hallmarks on the foot ring that are listed in J.R. McGrew's book on maker's marks as probably upstate New York. Missing the snuffer & some minor blemishes. The heavy silver nut on the base is over an iron nut, which is probably a later replacement. Size: 6" x 5 1/8" diameter x 3" ht.

Ball cover in form of male head with big ears, receding hairline, tronie-style grimace, and red bead eyes. Fully marked including London assay stamp and unidentified maker’s initials “T.S” in oval.
