Patented 1878 and marked with a T dating it from 1891-1902, this server by Tiffany & Co. is done in the "Olympian" pattern. The scene depicted on the handle is "Venus born of the sea." The bottom portion is gilded on both the front and back. The intricate work continues to the face on the back of the handle and it is monogrammed at the top (please see picture # 8). It measures approximately 11.25" long and 3" at its widest. It is in excellent condition, and the overall weight is 205.3 grams.

Six small sterling beakers with gilt interiors by Edward H. Stockwell of London. All are marked appropriately. Only the bottoms which show very light wear and very faint spotting have been polished. They measures 1-3/4" x 1-1/4" at the widest point.Total weight is 1.8ozs.

Very nice sterling silver sugar spoon with a plique-a-jour enamel handle decorated in three shades of translucent enamel. The matte gilt bowl has a rounded spade shape. The twist handle opens into a stained-glass like terminal. Plique-a-jour enameling was usually reserved for more delicate pieces like demitasse spoons, so a sugar spoon is rather uncommon. Unmarked, but probably European.

Superb sterling silver tongs in the "Kings" pattern. These are of the finest workmanship, exhibiting crisp detail on a very heavy blank. Fully hallmarked for London, 1842, with the Victoria head duty mark. The maker's mark is "WE" in conjoined circles.

A Sterling Silver Asparagus Fork or Server by the Alvin Corp. of Providence, RI (and bought by Gorham in 1928) in the rare Monterey pattern, produced only in 1895. It is 8.75" in length and has a heavily scripted monogram, possibly "MN". In very good condition.

This wonderfully decorative Victorian sterling silver fork by Frank M. Whiting Co. was used to serve pastry at the time but would enhance any table setting today. It is reticulated with a scroll foliage design in repousse, tongs are splayed, monogram KC in script, marked Sterling, Frank M. Whiting maker's mark, 14 Pat. Mar 7, 98, measures 7 1/4 in. Excellent condition.

Beautiful sterling silver asparagus fork made by Whiting, patented 1891, and sold by Bailey, Banks & Biddle.  It measures 10" long x 3 1/2" wide, and weighs 127 grams.  It is in wonderful condition with no dents, scratches or any other problems.  It has the initial B on the handle.

Elegant Victorian sterling silver serving dish with intricate repousse and pierced sides. The sides are finished off with a cyma-curve border punctuated at compass points with baroque shell motifs. A Gorham sterling silver miniature chamber stick or candle holder dated 1891. This Victorian era ornate chamberstick stands 1-5/8" high and it measures 3-3/8" across the base. A lovely sterling silver powder box by Gorham. The entire body and matching lid are covered in repousse decoration of swirling acanthus leaves. The sides flare out in an elegant curve that is continued in the lid which rises to point in the middle. Beautiful 3 piece sterling silver tea set consisting of a teapot, sugar and creamer, all in perfect condition.  It is late 19th century . Meriden Britannia.  The teapot weighs 582 grams and measures 9" tall x 10 1/2" wide x 4 1/2" deep; the creamer is 6" tall x 6 1/2" wide x 3" deep; and the sugar is sugar is 3 l/2" tall x 5 3/4" wide x 4" deep.

This is a beautifully crafted souvenir spoon from San Francisco, pre-dating the Golden Gate Bridge.In the bowl of the spoon is the Golden Gate, with the Marin Headlands on the right and Fort Point on the left. There is sailing vessel in the water and a setting sun beyond the Golden Gate.

Very rare sterling silver oyster ladle in Whiting's classic 1880 "Bead" pattern. The simplicity of the handle decoration is relieved by the ruffled edge of the bowl. It's simplicity enables the pattern to work with a wide range of other American Colonial-inspired patterns.
