Absolutely beautiful, very heavy, sterling tray.  It measures 22" long x 14 1/2" wide x 1" tall and weighs 2045 grams.  It is heavily decorated with flowers and leaves.  It is marked on the bottom "sterling" with what appears to be a beehive.  It is rare to find a sterling tray of this weight and beauty.

A Victorian Silver Plate Partners Inkstand or Standish; with Two Lidded Ink Bottles and a Central Ponce Pot Covered with a Taperstick. From London circa 1850's. Dimensions; 7.75" wide x 5" deep x 4.5" high. It has a descriptive label, with original misspelling (see picture). Some wear, but excellent condition.

A Meriden Britannia Three Piece Silver Plate Coffee Set; c. 1900-1917. Dimensions; coffee pot 26 oz., 8" x 6.5" wide, covered sugar 16 oz., 5" x 6.5" wide; creamer 12 oz, 4" x 5" wide; 54 oz. total. Along with a Silver Plate Tray, by E. G. Webster & Sons; 16" x 5.5" , c. 1920's; 40 ounces. All in very good condition. the tea set has been re-silvered at an earlier date.

A beautiful pair of scissor shaped sugar nips or tongs, with shell bowls. Silver, probably Irish, Rococo style, late 18th century. Unmarked, like many early sugar nips. Width "6¼/ 16 cm, weight 67 grams. Condition: the joint is somewhat unsteady and apparently these sugar nips have never been restored.

Large Victorian sterling silver meat serving fork, the tines with matte gilding and bright-cut engraving. The reverse is marked "925 Sterling 1000". Nice weight. Unknown American maker.

Set of 8 Wedgwood sterling silver goblets. Made by International Silver Co. in Meriden, Conn., ca 1920. Each: Ovoid bowl on cylindrical stem with base knop mounted to raised foot. At mouth rim raised band with Neoclassical ornament, including paterae and amphorae, entwined with flowers and scrolls between beaded and Vitruvian scroll borders. At foot border alternating volute scrolls and W’s. Seven goblets have gilt-washed interior. An elegant tribute to the historic English pottery firm...

A luxery set for 6 persons flatware cutlery and including also a larger knife and fork for cutting the meat, France 18th. century. (14 pieces total).

Highly elaborate with silver settings, incl. finials and fine floral inlays, high polished tortoise shafts and the knifes marked with a Lilly on the top of the blades.

Size: Knifes measure 23,9 cm. long, the forks only 20,2 cm. and the larger cutlery set, 26 cm. for both knife and fork...

A George III Silver Serving or Entrée or Vegetable Dish with Cover; assayed in London in 1811 and bearing the makers mark "WB" (either William Bell, Bennett, or Bateman). Fully marked. Dimensions; 11" x 8" x 5" to handle; weight 44.8 Troy ounces. Twist off handle. Some minor knocks on bottom, but in very good overall condition.

Dating 1869 is this lovely English dessert set by Henry Wilkinson & Co of Sheffield. Fully hallmarked this great find for the admirer of fine antique Sheffield silver plate. Condition is commensurate with age and use. Fork measures 7 inches long, knife is 8.5".

A fine quality two piece antique Gorham sterling string holder, made by Gorham 1890-1900. This lovely string holder weighs 3 ounces, and its pierced design allows you to see if you will soon need more string. It measures 3-1/4" in diameter and it stands 3-1/4" in height. It has the Gorham maker's mark with STERLING B1294 on the bottom, and this item is in excellent condition, with no monograms, corrosion, repairs or damage; there is a tiny dent on the bottom...

Large Japanese Meiji silver chalice, ca 1890. Oval bowl with irregular rim on tall cylindrical shaft flowing into raised and scalloped foot. Spout hammered ground. Double walled. Applied iris and chrysanthemum flowers and blossoming branches. Wire stem with flower head and bud wrapped around shaft. Mount Fuji-form mono plate (vacant). No cliché left behind. A wonderful ceremonial vessel for the advanced export market. Japanese marks and “Kuhn & Komor / Sterling”...

Set of 12 Art Nouveau sterling silver nut dishes. Made by Howard Sterling Co. in Providence, ca 1900. Each: Round and pierced with 3 leaf-mounted paw supports. Cast and open tendril rim with flower heads. Well has engraved single-letter monogram. Pretty bowls for small servings of treats. Fully marked including maker’s stamp and no. 491X. Very good condition.

Pair of Victorian sterling silver bread trays. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Ovoid well with fluid egg-and-dart border. Pierced and chased rim with dynamic leafing scrollwork; Prince of Wales feathers at ends. Sumptuous, nicely toned gilding. The ones to bring out when royalty comes for dinner. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 12356 (first produced in 1895), and director’s letter T (1892-1902). Very good condition.

A Large Sterling Silver with Antler Handles Presentation Loving Cup made by Shreve & Co. San Francisco, California. Engraved on three sides as shown, presented to Charles Barrett, dated Wednesday. November 14, 1900 and San Francisco. Measures about 6 1/2" tall, 8 1/2" at widest and weighs over one and a half pounds. Rare, early and fine.

Large French Rococo Revival 950 silver oval centerpiece plateau, ca 1890. Curvilinear cartouche with 6 leaf-mounted scroll supports. Beaded oval on strapwork armorial with ribbon and quiver, and interlaced script monogram. Mirrored top. Note: Larger and more ovalish than appears in images. Fully marked. Very good condition.

Turn-of-the-century Classical sterling silver trophy cup. Made by Tiffany & Co...

An English sterling silver spreading or butter knife, marks to handle and to knife for Sheffield 1892 and silver smith's mark W.G, I.L within shield mark. Softly modelled mock-Georgian design, with harmoniously curved profile and a finely engraved crest of a lion rampant. Length "8¼/ 20,5 cm. Condition: small fusion mark on upper ridge, otherwise fine.

Art Nouveau glass decanter with engraved silver overlay. Made by Alvin Corporation in Providence, ca 1890. Conical with cut-to-clear geometric ornament at base, and star on underside. Dense overlay with rinceaux, flowers, and scrollwork. Ball stopper with grape bunches and leaves in strapwork frames. Decanter is cranberry and stopper is clear. Silver fully marked including maker’s stamp and no. R112QT. Very good condition.
