George V sterling silver trophy cup. Made by Garrard & Co. Ltd in London in 1923. Girdled urn with leaf-capped double-scroll flying side handles and knopped support; stepped and domed foot. Cover domed with vasiform finial. Fully marked. Very good condition.

Lovely sterling silver sugar tongs in an elegant pattern that seems more Georgian than Victorian. The tongs are of the finest quality and are large enough to be used as bonbon or ice tongs, as well as for sugar. The end has an attractive period “E” monogram. The inside is fully hallmarked for London, 1845-46, and also has the Victoria duty mark. The maker’s mark is “SH/DC”.

Federal Classical silver ladle. Made by Gould & Ward in Baltimore, ca 1820. Upturned fiddle terminal engraved with script monogram. Marked “Gould & Ward Baltimore” with “11-12”, which was the Baltimore alloy. Gould & Ward succeeded Gelston & Gould and was in turn succeeded by Gould, Stowell & Ward. A genealogy of Baltimore silver embodied in a useful serving piece. Very good condition with nice patina.

Art Nouveau style letter opener accented with a figural child's face. Made by Currier & Roby in the 1900s, and in excellent condition. It measures 6.75" long by 1" at its widest. The overall weight is 26.9g.

This antique custom made two-person saddle is exquisite and the craftsmanship is finely executed, with the metal work and incising of the brass and silver, over a wood frame with iron supports. The front section is with silver open work over copper and brass, added after the silver, brass and silver are finely etched with a scrolled detail, and the finely crafted finial is dome-shaped with delicate spires that are alternating with a braided effect, and a brass bead at the top...

Acid-etched leafing scrollwork and flowers. At top shaped cartouche vacant for engraving a lovey-dovey message. Rare English, circa 1824, footed Georgian christening mug with a foliate capped double scroll handle. The body is chased and embossed with rose and leaf motif. In excellent condition, it measures about 3 3/8th high b 2 3/4" diameter at the mouth. Hallmarked.

Elegant sterling silver bonbon server in Kirk's popular "Repousse" pattern--probably the most famous of all the Baltimore silver patterns. The bowl is embellished with intricately designed fruit including grapes, pineapples, strawberries, and peaches. The reverse is marked "S. Kirk & Co. Sterling".

Silver has Gorham maker’s stamp and no. D942. Very good condition.
