George V sterling silver picture frame. Made by William Comyns in London in 1912. Oval window in rectangular surround. Window border entwined with entwined with engraved and overlapping open ribbon with bows at top and bottom. A sweet way to “tie up” a special memory for posterity. With glass, silk lining, and velvet back with hinged easel support for portrait (vertical) display. Fully marked. Very good condition.

A phenomenal Victorian sterling silver soup ladle in Whiting’s “No. 26” pattern. The top of the handle features incredibly detailed peony foliage. The twist stem leads to the fluted and scalloped bowl. At the junction of the bowl and stem, a full-blown peony blossom is delicately engraved into the silver. The bowl is parcel gilt. “No. 26” is an extremely rare pattern. It is always very finely made and exceptionally heavy, even by Whiting’s standards...

Turn-of-the-century Chinese export silver picture frame. Oval window in shaped surround with scrolls and flower heads at top, and leaves, stars, flowers, and heart cartouche vacant on stippled ground at bottom. With glass, silk lining, velvet back, and hinged easel silver wire support. Marked “Sterling”. Very good condition with deep patina.

English Victorian cologne bottle, 1880. Cut-glass cylinder with short and threaded inset neck. Ball cover in form of male head with big ears, receding hairline, tronie-style grimace, and red bead eyes. Fully marked including London assay stamp and unidentified maker’s initials “T.S” in oval. A George II Large Footed Cup or Beaker by William Shaw and William Priest and Hallmarked in London, 1756 (clear marks). Dimensions; 4 1/8" high x 4" diameter at top, 2 3/4" at base; weight 6.9 Troy ounces. Some minor wear and a slight bend at the base (see picture). Overall in very good condition.

A Substantial and Elegant Coin Silver Pitcher (Milk Jug, Creamer) by Newell Harding of Boston, Mass., circa 1840, Dimensions; 8.5: high x 5" at mid-section diameter; weight, a substantial 11.8 Troy ounces. Monogram. Excellent condition.

A Silver Pitcher, Probably Used for Milk or Cream, by Eoff and Shepherd and Retailed by Ball, Black and Co., New York. It ios marked 950, higher than the sterling 925 standard, and used briefly during the transition from coin to sterling. An Elegant Script Monogram is on the Front Cartouche. Dimensions; 9" high x 4" wide; weight; 10.1 Troy ounces. Circa 1855-1860. Excellent condition.

Lovely square enamel and silver compact, painting of a semi-nude woman resting next to a man and several sheep, a stream is in the background. The painting is framed with silver engraving and carnelian blue enamel accents. Inside is a mirror. Stamped 800. Dimensions 3"x3.25". Condition Report: Excellent condition.

Tall turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau glass decanter with engraved silver overlay. Globular bowl with cylindrical neck and everted rim. Stopper concave with faceted neck. Dense overlay. On bowl are flower heads, entwined scrolls, and trellis between double linear frames joined by beading and terminating in volute scrolls. On neck are shooting tendrils forming arches. Neck and rim in collar as is decanter neck. Glass is clear. Marked and numbered 044...

A Rare Scottish Sterling Silver Large goblet. by John McDonald and Hallmarked in Edinburgh in 1815. Provenance; from the Estate of Margaret Truman Daniel (1924-2008). Dimensions; 6.75" high x 3.5" diameter; weight a substantial 9.6 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

Pretty Edwardian inkwell. Made by Foster & Bailey in Providence, ca 1910. Rectangular clear glass base with chamfered corners, wraparound acid-etched garland, and star cut to underside. Ovalish well with short neck in sterling silver collar with hinged and domed cover. Cover top has enameled flower basket and garland on white wavy and chevron ground with ornamental blue lunettes. Fully marked. Very good condition with strong color.

A Scottish Footed Silver Bowl, probably used for Sugar. The Marks are rubbed, but it is likely Glasgow, with maker probably Alexander Gairdner c. 1777. Dimensions; 4.75" diameter x ;5" high x 3.5" diameter at foot; weight, a heavy 9.6 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

An Early Silver Beaker, North European, Baroque period, dated 1701.

A beautiful engraved and large beaker with an extrafine decoration, consisting of vertical lines, framed with double concenthric lines on the body; with two beautifully engraved Floral medallions and another central medallion, engraved with P.F.S.S / Z.F.D.S and below the inscription with 1704. Stamped with three symethrically placed stamps in the bottom.
