Victorian decorative sterling clip, c.1893. Measures 2 3/4" by 1 5/8" and the hinge is in excellent working order. it is marked "STERLING 3905 PAT.1893". There is also a maker's mark that has faded and is hard to read. Excellent condition......$10 for insured shipping.

A Large Glass Vanity or Dresser Jar, with a Sterling Repousse Top with a Cherub Design. Dimensions; 5.5" high x 4" wide. Marked sterling, but no maker mark. Minor bruises around the lip of the top and a very small internal chip (?) at the base of the jar. Very good condition overall. Circa 1890.

Jumbo big game-era safari flask. Made by George Unite in Birmingham in 1888. Glass body. Upper part encased in leather with cut-away vertical windows. At bottom detachable sterling silver cup engraved with armorial. Sterling silver collar with hinged and cork-lined ball cover engraved with same. The alpha model. Holds enough booze for everyone around the campfire. Fully marked. Very good condition with some handling wear from all those big sweaty hands.

Finely crafted silver box with Rosewood interior, exterior decorated with impressive scroll design, 19th century period. Aprpox. 1 1/2" H x 8 1/2" W x 4 1/4" D, condition is consistent with age, no issues noted.

This wildly over-the-top Egyptian Revival inkwell has the goddess Hathor as the center piece. She was the goddess of dance, music, and fertility (how cool is that!). She is wearing big earrings, and her usual headdress. She seems to have a flower in her hair, and in front of her there is foliage tied by a ribbon with a bow (we can’t tell if it’s laurel or mistletoe)...

Art Deco sterling silver box. Made by Henry Matthews in Birmingham in 1927. Square with straight and plain sides. Cover hinged, tabbed, and chamfered. On top parcel gilt with engine-turned ornament with wavy lines between honeycomb; sizes have diaper in trapezoidal frames. Cedar-lined interior; open leather-lined bottom. Fully marked. Very good condition with some gilding loss.

German 800 silver figural bird spice box, ca 1900. A hen with neat feathers and firmly planted talons. Detachable head tilted to side with intent glass eyes and small crown. A beautiful and rare Shiebler sterling serving piece in the "Maintenon" pattern. Adding to the overall graceful form of the piece is the greenish-blue and white enameling on the handle and the white and pale lavender enameling on the gently curved bowl. While this form is quite uncommon it is generally found in plain silver and the addition of the enameling raises this to a rarity level...

An elegant sterling silver olive serving spoon in an unnamed floral pattern by Baker Manchester Silver Co. This maker was especially known for their elegant silver serving pieces instead of full flatware services. The Art Nouveau style is evidenced by the trio of fully-opened roses that decorated the tip and center of the curving handle. The design is repeated in the scalloped and pierced bowl, and is shown in reverse on the back side of the spoon. The bowl retains its original matte gilding...

This is an ACANTHUS GEORG JENSEN SMALL SERVING OR BON BON SPOON from a Maryland Estate. In the ACANTHUS PATTERN the size is 4 1/8" long; the Bowl measuring 1 1/2" X 1 5/8". Marked on the back: GJ/ DENMARK/ STERLING. Monograms on the top front: LEJ. Date this piece ca. 1915-1930 in EXCELLENT Condition

A classic George III sterling silver wine coaster, the bombe sides with egg and dart decoration and the rim with gadrooning. The decoration is finely crafted. The turned wood base is centered with a silver escutcheon bearing an unidentified coat of arms (dancetty with three swords points down) impaling that of Ashby (ermine chevron and three leopard’s heads) tied with a ribbon. The coaster is clearly stamped with hallmarks for London and the second George III duty mark (1786-1821)...

A magnificent sterling silver claret spoon by Dominick & Haff. This example is strikingly decorated in a pattern representing three different varieties of chrystanthemums. The decoration appears to be loosely based on Dominick & Haff's "#10" pattern, though this is much more ornate. The area around the flowers is intricately pierced in the rococo style...
