Elegant Victoria sterling silver pin cushion by Gorham. The silver surface is encrusted with repousse decoration of chrysanthemums and forget-me-nots. A rococo reserve is engraved with a period 3-letter monogram. This style of decoration is rather unusual for Gorham. The bottom is fully hallmarked, including the date mark for 1901. The pincushion also retains its original red velvet covering, a rare survivor.

An Indonesian Yogya solid silver belt buckle from 1900 or earlier. This beautifully hand tooled openwork buckle measures 4-1/2 x 2-7/8" when the two halves are attached with their hook and eye clasp. They have one belt retention bar each and it is unsigned but tests as high grade silver. This fine fashion accessory weighs 62.2 grams and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

An enamel 800 silver enamel snuffbox or snuff box depicting the German resort city of Bad Ems. It measures 1-15/16" x 1-3/8". The lid is slightly convex and it is just under 5/8" deep/tall. The top of the hinged oval box features a completely hand enameled aerial scenic view of the city. It takes a enamelist of some training and skill, as not only must they be able to depict the view properly in enamel, but know how the enamel reacts when it is fired, as the colors change...

A Moritz Elimeyer 900 silver brandy pan or measure, probably dating to the late 19th century. This elegant antique silver piece has a twist decoration and interior gilding. It is 5-1/4" in length with the bowl measuring 2-5/8 across the rim with a depth of 1-1/4". It has the company and German post 1886 silver marks of ELIMEYER 900 with an S with crossed hammers Dresden maker's mark and the German post 1886 silver moon and crown...

Antique Persian Hand Crafted Silver Item. Description: Lovely antique hand made silver Item, container used for eye liner material (sormedan), is composed of two section each decorated with small silver balls. Size: 5" tall and 2" in diameter, in perfect condition.

This is an ACANTHUS GEORG JENSEN SMALL SERVING OR BON BON SPOON from a Maryland Estate. In the ACANTHUS PATTERN the size is 4 1/8" long; the Bowl measuring 1 1/2" X 1 5/8". Marked on the back: GJ/ DENMARK/ STERLING. Monograms on the top front: LEJ. Date this piece ca. 1915-1930 in EXCELLENT Condition

This brush was made by the well-known Gorham Manufacturing Company. The design looks like the top of an antique steamer chest, with a Steampunk-like strapping-and-stud motif. The top is monogrammed with a fancy "R". It has the Gorham marks, as well as “1857 C”, “Sterling,” and the scissors mark for 1907. It measures 6” x 1-3/4" across the top, and is in very good condition. Photo note: the bristles are an ivory color, but don’t show up that way in the photos...

An American Coin Silver Mug (Christening Mug or Childs Cup) of an Octagonal Form, by Francis W. Cooper of New York, circa 1850. Dimensions; 3.5" h x 2.75" d; weight 3 ounces. Some slight base compression, but in very fine condition overall.

A rare sterling silver pickle fork in Towle’s 1887 “Pomona” pattern. The long handle is decorated with a cornucopia overflowing with peaches, pears and grapes amidst foliage. The handle twists before leading into the matte gild three-tined fork. This piece would have been used for pickled vegetables, but could now be used for a variety of foods. The long size is much more difficult to find than the shorter version...

A Sterling Silver Double Lip Punch Ladle by Whiting (bought by Gorham) in the Louis XV Pattern (introduced in 1891), with a Gold Wash Bowl. Dimensions; 10.5" weight 4.5 ounces; bowl 3.75" x 3". Excellent condition.

A Large Sterling Meat Fork by Gorham in the Mythologic Pattern, issued in 1894. Designed by F. Antoine Heller, a French Designer Formerly with Tiffany. Dimensions; 10" in length and 5 ounces; front part 4" x 2.5". Excellent condition.

An English Sterling Silver Crumber or Silent Butler, with an Ivory Handle. Hallmarked in Sheffield, 1918, with the makers mark "W & Sons, Ltd.". for William Hutton & Sons. Dimensions; 6.5" x 3". Excellent condition (there is a crack in the underside of the handle, typical with ivory, see picture).

In Persia, before the age of cigar and cigarette, hookha was used for generations and generally they were made from clay. The aristocrasts and wealthy had the upper section of their hookha made from silver and the base was porcelain or crystal...

Elegant Napoleon III ivory letter opener and book mark with a French silver handle with repousse decoration. The piece serve as a paper cutter or letter opener, but the double blade can slip over the edge of a page to serve as a book mark. The handle is decorated in a foral pattern and has a reserve which was never monogramed. The end has a loop so that the opener/mark could have a ribbon attached or so that it could be worn from a chatelaine...

A Gorham silver plated open chafing dish on stand from the 1900 era. This top quality late Victorian era warming dish measures 9-5/8" across and it sits on the ornately designed heavy quality footed stand, which has a large fuel well with a turned handle. It has two mechanical burners - the long thumbwheels open the lids and raise and lower the wicks in the same motion, snuffing the flames. The burners are mounted in a fitted top which sits on the fuel well; they are stamped PAT'D AUG 29.189...

Sterling silver bust spoon by Bailey Banks and Biddle of Philadelphia. In excellent condition it measures 4.75" long.

This is a 19th century sterling silver sugar caster made by Shreve Crump & Low Co. highly regarded and well known silver smiths. The height of the caster is 5” and the diameter at the widest is 3”. The caster is fully hallmarked and also engraved on the bottom with three initials and a date 7.29.1894.
