Terrific pair of sterling silver sugar tongs dating to the reign of George III. The design (made by cutting reflective facets in the silver) is very nicely executed on this quality piece, and unlike many Georgian tongs, these are quite heavy.

The tongs are marked with the lion passant and the script hallmark "GS" for George Smith, entered in London in 1782...

Lovely sterling silver demitasse spoon with a floral finial decorated in plique-a-jour enamels in five shades. The stained glass effect is very nice. The bowl is engraved "Irene". The spoon retains its original gilding. The back is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1916.

Condition: virtually mint. Size: 4-5/16" long. Weight: 7.0 grams.

John C. Moore period Tiffany & Co. sterling silver child's fork decorated with the nursery rhyme "Cock Robin & Jenny Wren." The fork shows the likeness of Mr. Robin wearing a tuxedo and Ms. Wren demurely peeking over her fan. The back is marked "Tiffany & Co. Sterling". The back also bears the letter M designating manufacture between the years 1875 and 1891.

Condition: excellent; usual wear to outer tines; no monogram. Size: 6-1/4" long.

An ornate, finely decorated rectangular galley drinks tray c1910. This 11-1/8 x 8" tray has a pierced gallery and it is of heavy and solid construction (it weighs 640 grams). It is silver plated on copper and it has the maker's mark for Charles Howard Collins of Birmingham, England (founded c1895)...

This is an ANTIQUE GORHAM STERLING SAUCE BOAT. Circa first quarter of the 20th Century this STERLING Piece measures 1 3/4" X 5 5/8" overall. Note the handcrafted Handle. The Simpson Hall Miller repousse "roses" sugar and creamer have the number 170 on the base of each.

The open sugar has a mouth opening of 3 1/4", the creamer 2 1/2". The open sugar is 2 3/4" tall, the creamer2 1/8".

They are in good condition.

An unusually nice silverplated studs box, the top decorated with repousse chrysanthemums. The only clue to the box’s purpose of holding a gentleman’s shirt studs and cufflinks is the figural stud finial on the top. The bottom is marked for the Middletown Plate Co. This is a much more decorative example than most.

Origin: America, 1876-99. Condition: excellent, hardly any wear to the plating. Size; 2-5/8” diameter; 1-3/4” tall.

Gilt George III sterling silver serving spoon with gadrooned edges and a beautifully scalloped bowl. Spoons that are completely gilt are quite rare. The reverse is hallmarked for London, 1784. The maker’s mark is barely visible and is illegible.

A Georgian Scottish King's pattern sterling sauce ladle 1818. This George III period 6-1/8" sterling silver sauce ladle is fully hallmarked for Edinburgh, Scotland 1818. This ladle has the maker's mark of Andrew Wilkie (est. 1813). It weighs 28.0 grams, it has a a DJC monogram, and it is in excellent antique condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

Small and beautiful silver basket bowl made in Germany c 1890. Empire style boat shape, the reticulated and engraved decoration in Rococo style with flowers and rocaille ornaments. Marks for Martin Meyer in Mainz, a leading German silversmith (1888 - ), producer of cutlery as well as Jugendstil jewelry. German control mark: crescent and crown plus 800 for the silver content. Large Victorian sterling silver meat serving fork, the tines with matte gilding and bright-cut engraving. The reverse is marked "925 Sterling 1000". Nice weight. Unknown American maker.

A Sterling Silver Pierced Tomato Server by Reed & Barton in the "Hepplewhite" pattern, patented in 1907. It is gold washed at the serving end, and is 6" long. There is a monogram that appears to be LB in an intertwined script.

Originally made for fruit circa 1860, today this antique Coin Silver folding knife might become a handy tool for another use. Small and lightweight, one side of the delicate silver engraved handle is monogrammed in script CGT, the other side awaits the initials of a new owner. One fairly sharp blade marked COIN and the other blade used for picking seeds or as a toothpick. The blade can be sharpened to hold an edge that can cut anything easily. Excellent condition, cleaning on request...

A superb and very heavy quality silver plated fruit bowl with high relief designs and scrolling c1890, made by E.G. Webster & Son of Brooklyn, New York. This bowl measures 12-3/4 x 10" and it weighs an impressive 1 lb. 14-1/2 ounces. It has the crown, lion and Prince of Wales feathers marks and a 154 pattern. This mark is sometimes erroneously ascribed to the sterling silver wares of Webster (Rainwater) but it is plated...

A simple but elegant brandy warmer with beaded lid and base rims, the thumb rest on the lid molded as a scallop shell, the angled handle of aged wood with a nice patina.

The piece is 3 3/8" tall, and 2 7/8" wide, 5 1/8" wide including the handle. Excellent condition.
