A Matched Set of Four George II Silver Open Salts. The Set was assayed in London in 1747, makers mark illegible. The dimensions are 3" across and 1 1/2" high. Elegant sterling silver bread fork, the handle decorated with beading and acanthus leaves. The decoration at the top of the curved tines repeats the motif of the handle. Aesthetic Movement mixed metal copper basket featuring twig and vine bronze handle with a bronze bird perched on the edge. Design on basket is reminiscent of patterns seen on Japanese textiles. An unusual work of art that can be used for fresh flowers when not on display. No condition issues, it measures 7.75" high, 8" wide, and 5.5" front-to-back.

A wonderful late 19th or very early 20th century sheet iron weathervane in the form of a sperm whale silhouette. The vane is hand sawn and retains its old coat of oxidized green paint (may be original, but appears to be a second coat). One side still has its black painted eye. The silhouette is attached to its original copper mounting pole. Found in Maine.
