Painted cast iron horsehead nameplate by Hubley, intended for use on a stable door, probably at a racetrack or horse farm. Two screws are meant to hold an engraved nameplate to the horseshoe. This would make a great name plate on the front door of a home.

Wonderful pair of Hubley cast iron paperweights in the form of African-American children. The little girl wears a yellow jumper over a white blouse and the little boy wears yellow pants and a white shirt. This is the only pair of black memorabilia iron paperweights we’ve seen.

Origin: America, ca 1920. Condition: very good, expected paint wear on high spots. Size: 1-3/8” tall.

A pair of antique hand wrought iron Fire Breathing Dragon Andirons. Measure about 18" by 9 1/4" and weigh about six pounds. Rare and unique.

A very nice European Silver Cosmetic Box with perfectly fitting lid (gilded/vermeil inside). Base and cover have 800 stamp and hallmark. Condition: good and nice weight. Top has raised/stylized initials VB. Size: H. 9 cm. x 8.5 cm. top diameter x 7.5 cm. bottom diameter.

Five watchful dogs – setters, dachshunds and a collie – cast in brass on an Art Nouveau pen tray. Around 1910, unmarked, probably English. Length "7 1/3 / 18.7 cm. Condition: natural wear, consistent with use, the underside still with original gilding.

A fine pair of Arts & Crafts Pewter Candleholders by the noted Chicago Metalsmith, Julius O. Randahl. Signed as shown. Each measuring about 13" long and 6" at their tallest. These are pictured in the book "Chicago Metalsmiths" by Sharon Darling, as shown. Very good condition.

French Belle Epoque Classical 950 silver gravy boat on stand, ca 1910. Boat has ovoid bowl with helmet mouth and raised oval foot with imbricated leaf rim. High-looping and split leaf-mounted handle with armorial engraved in beaded oval frame. Stand oval with open well and four trefoil supports. Both have stippled tubular frames alternating with stylized flower heads. Reeding. Fully marked with Minerva head and maker’s stamp (Alphonse Dutac)...

Set of 6 Japanese Meiji silver cast figural knife rests, ca 1910. Each: A horned and taloned dragon with arched back and fan tail. Scaly, scampering serpents for the next dinner party. Unmarked. Very good condition.

Pair of Chinese export silver vases, ca 1910. Each: Flat and round moon body on domed foot; animal-head handles mounted to shoulder. On front and back is chased dragon—a horned and taloned serpentine serpent on hand-hammered ground. Marked Wang Hing & Co., an early 20th-century retailer active in Canton and Hong Kong. Very good condition. Handwork visible on foot underside.

German 800 silver cow creamer, ca 1910. A sweet beast with flexed ears, stubby horns, and slightly agape mouth spout. A stocky body with spindly legs and firmly planted hooves; flicked-back tail handle and hinged flap for refills. Marked. Very good condition.

George V sterling silver vase. Made by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd in Sheffield in 1912. Tapering and girdled tube on stepped foot. Flared and castellated rim with applied molding and ornament. Description: This a lovely Sterling Silver Money case with three different compartment, one for coins second one for bills and the third for placing a picture. There is a presentation make on the upper left side of the lid. Both lid and the base are hammered silver, and a chain for handling the purse is attached to it. Imagine this little guy hopping across your table providing everyone with salt or pepper! He is intricately detailed all the way down to his feet. His head unscrews to refill salt or pepper. He stands up well and does not wobble. He is marked "800" on his tail and was probably made sometime around 1910. He measures approximately 3" long and 2.5" tall and is in excellent condition.
