A delightful bronze dresser mirror, the entire frame ornately decorated in the form of two Pierrot figures and a smiling man-in-the-moon. Pierrot was a originally a Comedia dell’Arte character, but in the 18th century, he and the moon became inextricably linked in the French children’s song, “Au Claire de la Lune.” There are a few variations of this mirror; this is the most ornate, with the intricately beveled glass. The detailing of the figures is excellent.

A decorative silverplated footed and handled candy basket with the original glass liner c1900. This 6-1/2" tall server is 5-1/2" across, it has an openwork window-style design and pierced handle, and it is stamped with the Canadian Meriden mark with an 1890 pattern number. Sterling silver bust spoon by Bailey Banks and Biddle of Philadelphia. In excellent condition it measures 4.75" long.

This elegant brush has repousse decorations depicting Art Nouveau lilies on the top, and fancy swirls on the handle. It measures 5-3/4” x 3". It is stamped Sterling, and there are other, illegible, marks. There is a little bit of damage to the silver at the top of the brush, which is exaggerated by the photos. The handle has an undecorated area on each side, ready to be monogrammed, should you want one. On one side this area has some small dings to it...

A fine pair of Edwardian sterling silver napkin rings, hallmarked 1906 from the highly sought-after Chester assay office. In excellent condition with no initials nor monograms, the napkin rings feature a lovely hand engraved fern leaf design. Here is a Washington- and Masonic-themed spoon which is marked STERLING F.A. WHELAN. Both sides of the bowl, the hilt, and the tip are gold washed. It has a lot of Masonic symbolism incorporated into the design. The dates on the spoon handle (1732-1799) are the birth and death dates for George Washington, who was a Mason. (He is also a main character in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s “Hamilton.” We are huge fans!) The spoon is approximately 100 years old. It measures 4-1/8", and weighs 10.9g...

A very nice sterling silver pincushion and sewing box by Tiffany & Co. The pierced sterling silver walls enclose a sewing box (or jewelry box) with two hinged tops that serve as pincushions. The current dark purple velvet is a replacement, but is placed over the original box structure. The pierced handle has an area that can be monogrammed (never been monogrammed). The whole is raised on bun feet. The bottom is marked with the Tiffany hallmark in use 1902-07.

Antique Victorian era S Kirk & Son sterling silver pin cushion with purple velvet liner. A must have for the collector of fine Victorian sewing accoutrements or the collector of unusual sterling pieces. Fully hallmarked. American and in excellent condition, it measures 6" diameter.
