This porcelain dish was produced in Bohemia by the Hermann Ohme Porcelain Manufacturer around 1885. It is 6 1/4 inches long, 5 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches deep. The porcelain has a swirled ribbing that makes the dish fragile and translucent. The inside of the dish is hand painted with Dresden type flowers in bright colors. There are little buds and twigs scattered around both sides of it. The inner rim has delicate hand gilding...

An Art Nouveau porcelain table centrepiece relief moulded with stylized lily decoration and pre-Raphaelite style figures of a youth and a maiden. This item was designed by Ernst Wahuss and produced by Amphora (Austria) circa 1890 - 1910. Condition: excellent - no losses or damages and no repairs or restoration. 33cm (13 inches) long; 17cm (6.7 inches) high.

An early and attractive brass alloy travellers icon, made before the Ban on bronze travellers icon making by Peter the Great in 1722. This icon probably dates to the late 17th. century.

Condition: Nice Very fine. Lovely thick dark brown patina, some light wear to high points, but very attractive and untouched.

Wonderful pottery candlestick decorated in an underglaze blue floral transfer and clobbered with overglaze iron red, yellow, and purple pigments. The effect is much like chintz china, but with stronger coloring. The bottom is marked with the registration number indicating the piece was designed in 1913 and bears the mark used by Cauldon Potteries from 1905 to 1920. It is also marked "Grip", probably referring to the very uncommon form...

This bisque porcelain figural group was produced in Europe in the mid 19th century. It is not marked and we don't know if it is German or perhaps English. It is 6 1/2 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches wide at the base. The porcelain is dense and quite heavy for its size. The group is so quaint, with this little girl and her large dog carrying a basket of flowers in his mouth. The piece has a space in the back to hold flowers, so it serves as a vase as well as a figurine...

Interesting and attractive large key for a money chest, probably Italian c. 17th. century.

The key finely made sturdy design with a heart-shaped bow and a strong complex bit, solid stem.

A Royal Worcester 6-1/4" face or mask jug with gold made in 1897. This exquisitely detailed jug has superb hand applied gold decoration in the form of wild daisies with yellow and reddish centers along with wild grasses. The gold is thickly applied with ridges and jewelling and the ornate handle is gold as well. The mask or face on the spout is crisp and detailed and this jug has the Grainger Royal Worcester China Works mark with the G year code for 1897...

Scarce pottery Jug, Varde in Denmark, ca. 16th.-18th. century AD.

These black-glazed pottery jugs and pots were made from medieval times to 19th. century. This particular jug is one of the finest examples we've seen from the region around Varde that produced the best pottery in Jutland. Finely made with glossy black glaze.

Size: 20-21 cm. tall, incl. the lid.

Condition: Hairline repairs and small chip to lid, as is typical for this fragile type...

1880 blue checked bonnet all hand sewn with really nice details. I have taken some pictures I hope you can see the hand stitching on the brim with six rows with cord inside so it gives the brim some stiffness. The bonnet is a lovely blue. There are a few spots around the bottom of the neck fringe. It is 14" top to bottom and 8" front to back of the bonnet. It is a very nice early work of art. C.1880

This porcelain egg cup was produced in Germany by Meissen between 1890 and 1910. It is 2 5/8 inches high and the opening has a diameter of 1 3/4 inches. It is made of the finest hard paste porcelain ever produced. It is expertly hand painted with a lovely spray of vividly colored flowers. There are tiny sprigs and little buds toward the back of the cup. The rim and foot are trimmed with gold. This is a beauty you would be proud to own. Condition: Excellent

An attractive 'magical' bronze or brass bowl with high relief central navel and inscribed and decorated, greater Persia, c. 18th.-19th. century AD.

Size: 17,2 cm. wide and c. 5 cm. tall, heavy cast with fine thick walls.

A Lanternier Limoges hand painted floral vase from around 1900. This subtle and beautiful Limoges French porcelain hand painted vase c1890-1900 vase stands 9-1/4" high and it has a finely painted floral arrangement in subtle pastel shades with gold highlights - the leafy sprigs with purple flowers have subtle green lines and the complex yellow and richly gilded large flowers and leaves have great detail and piped and jewelled thick gold outlines...

Antique flannel dog filled with grain or sawdust that makes him feel like a bean bag and allows him to stand nicely. He has big bead eyes and replaced floppy ears. The original ears must have been further back where you see a white patch. That patch is white flannel that hasn't gotten dirty. He has a couple of mends but is old and nice and has a bit of a worried look. He is 7 1/2" long and 6" tall. (His ears are a wool knit fabric that looks like they have been there for a while.) A fine example of mid-Victorian Naturalism. This is a silver plated egg stand in the form of tree branches, with the English registry mark for 1871. This set consists of the four silver plated 2-3/8" high eggcups and the cast metal 5-1/2" tall handled base with branches and leaves. The base measures 4-1/2" across, it has branch supports for four spoons (not present), and it has the registry mark on the bottom...

Lovely cut glass powder jar with a silver lid. The finial is a beautifully-detailed strawberry. The edges of the lid are decorated with classical bound reeding. The lid is also monogramed "FC". Hallmarks are European and the silver content is 916/1000.

An English polychrome blue & white transfer milk jug circa 1850. This 19th century decorative 5-3/4" tall jug measures 6-1/2" from spout to handle, and it has a Chinese scene design. The colours are green, teal, orange and yellow and the design is continued on the inside upper rim and spout. Fabulous brass and copper picture frame in the Aesthetic Japonaise style. The basketweave pattern of the brass frame is detailed with raised copper decorative elements that include a crane standing in a stream, bamboo and cherry blossoms. The back has an easel. The frame is 3.5" x 2.75". The oval opening with glass is 2.25" x 1.5". Circa 1870.
