This porcelain ink well with tray was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the late 19th century. There is an impressed Nymphenburg shield mark on the bottom of the tray. The tray measures 8 3/4 inches long and 6 3/4 inches wide. The ink wells are attached to the tray but have separate lids and inserts. The tray is hand painted with vividly colored flowers and little sprigs. This decoration is also used on the lids and ink wells...

An authentic and vintage Dutch Delft blue and white 9-1/4" plate. This plate has a floriate design and it has the expected blue-tinged underglaze. This unsigned plate is in excellent condition with no chips, damage or repairs other than the loss of the glaze around the rim, plus some fingertip sized rim chips. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use...

This covered jar was produced in Germany by Wolfsohn Dresden before 1890. It has a diameter of 3 1/2 inches and is 2 3/4 inches high. The jar is ornately painted in Meissen or Vienna style. There is a scene with a horse and rider hand painted on the lid, which is rather unusual subject matter for Dresden painting. This reserve is surrounded with intricate gilding. The sides of the jar have panels of rose colored fish scale painting alternating with fancy gilded panels...

Antique Balouchi balisht front, in excellent full pile un-restored condition, with natural dyes, complete with flat-weave ends. Great color palette, including the use of green. It appears to date from the end of the nineteenth century. 22" by 37".

Mold number 913 size C with incised decoration of squares in a band at the shoulder of the vase. Vase is a yellow clay body, covered in a green to red Butterfat matte glaze. Flame Mark, with numerals for 1915, mold and size, with finishers mark for Ewan. Height of vase is 9 inches. Very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs; some minor surface blemishes (paint spots, rub marks). Circa 1915

Set of three remarkably preserved antique stylized swans by Fratelli Toso. I have seen these attributed to Salviati however, on a recent trip to Venice I showed these to an antique dealer specializing in antique Venetian Glass and he showed me some documentation with images that confirms these to indeed be Fratelli Toso, made in 1890. This dealer had a few of these in his display and he said that they are hard to find without chips to the beaks and tails...

A nicely decorated document box featuring red and black grain painting, the edges with yellow and green striping.

The box is 13 1/4 inches in length, 7 1/4 inches in depth, and 6 1/2 inches tall. Overall condition is excellent, with no cracks or breaks, and virtually all of the original, unrestored paint is present. The lock and hinges are original and in fine shape. There is the normal amount of wear along some of the box edges.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory or KPM in 1918. The saucer has a diameter of 4 5/8 inches and the cup is 2 inches high, not counting the handle. The shape of the cup is classic, with a handle that sweeps up over the rim. The set is decorated with ornate gilding. There is a wreath of gold on the front of the cup containing hand painted roses...

This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in France by Jean Pouyat Limoges in the 1890s. The porcelain was produced and decorated at the factory. The saucer is 4 7/8 inches in diameter. The cup is 3 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/4 inches. The ground color is powder blue. Art Nouveau style dandelions are hand painted and hand gilded on each piece. It is richly gilded on the rims and handle...

Elegant sterling silver footed basket with flaring, reticulated sides and a hoop handle. The swirling pattern of the piercing echoes the basket's scalloped rim. The top of the handle has a reserve for a monogram, but was never monogramed...

A graceful stepped strap-handled pitcher of lead glass, featuring trailed threading at the rim, and engraved "RFE" with vines above ribbons, the reverse with flowering vines.

The condition is excellent, with no flaws to speak of. Good color and tooling. Snapped rough pontil. The height is 7 1/4".

A large deep dish with hand painted blue lines and blue hand applied stencil flowers, roses in the center and flowers (possibly peony) and foliage around the rim. Early Doccia (circa 1750) had stenciled blue flowers on both maiolica and porcelain. I suspect that those pieces or similarly decorated mid-18th century ceramics were the inspiration for this piece. Without any manufacturers marks it is difficult to know who made this dish, but Doccia became Ginori and Cantagali, also close to Florence...

An extremely fine antique English porcelain coffee can, of flared form, made by the Chamberlain Worcester factory. The cup features a beautiful bouquet of flowers and stunning gilding on the borders, the entire interior, and the entire handle. It is fully marked with painted red script on the bottom. The handle is quite unusual and uncommon, not even appearing in Geoffrey Godden's book on Chamberlain Worcester.
