A shaped rectangular dark blue ground dish with extensive gilding. Birds on the four edges and moths in the corners are painted in conjunction with the gilding. Though unmarked it is typical of Mason’s of the period around 1825. 9 ½ inches (24 cm) length, 8 inches (20 cm), 13/4 inches (4.5 cm) tall.

Condition: No chips cracks hairlines or repairs...

Blue and white sparrow beak milk or cream jug and lid transfer printed in two rows with a Chinoiserie pattern. Unmarked, English, c 1790. Height including lid "6 ¼ / 16 cm. Condition: the jug with two hairlines, the lid with star crack and rim frits (cf. pics).

Six sterling silver cocktail forks in Gorham's lovely 1899 "Cambridge" pattern. The handles are beautifully decorated with flowers, scrolls, and gadrooning. The backs are marked with Gorham's old hallmark, the patent date, and the retailer's mark "W.F. Van Arsdel".

Origin: America, circa 1900. Condition: excellent, crisp details, no monograms. Size: 5-7/16" long.

An English Staffordshire bowl and a bread or cake plate, part of an early 19th century tea set. Decoration in blue, beige and gilt of flower garlands and ribbons. Diameter of bowl "6 ¼ /16 cm, of plate "8 ½/ 22 cm, height of bowl "3 ¼/ 8 cm. Condition: some exterior glaze cracks to the lower part of bowl.

An amber colored vase with an etched and gilt “Oroplastic” frieze of Amazon warriors, the base facet cut. The Oroplastic decoration method was introduced by the Moser glass company around 1915. It became a great success, totally in line with the emerging Art Deco style. Signed Made in Czechoslovakia Moser Karlsbad. Height "3 ¾ / 9.5 cm. Condition: fine.

A bowl, originally a finger bowl, and three small ”ladies” wine glasses, the bowl c. 1840, the glasses Napoléon III c. 1860-80. All in the bleu céleste colour en vogue in France in the 19th century and all with the same “bubbly” texture. The glasses with polished pontil marks. Height of bowl "3¼/8,5 cm, diameter "4½/ 11 cm, height of glasses "3¼/ 8,5 cm. Condition: fine.

Folk Art Duck Decoy hand carved from wood with yellow eye created from a thumb tack, 19th century. The bird is painted black with white highlights and a grey beak. It has a leather strap on the base for pulling the decoy in the water.
CONDITION: signs of wear on leather and on the base. The yellow thumb tack is probably a later replacement.

19th century rare and good quality ½ liter ceramic beer stein made by Matthias Girmscheid with incised mark on the bottom which look like a castle along with numbers 76, 7, 5 and painted and incised 3, as can be seen on the picture...

Four hand painted blue and white Dutch delft tiles joined with grout on a soft board in the manner in which they would have appeared on a wall. Roughly 10 ¼ x 10 ½ inches (26 x 27 cm). Minor damage at the edges.

Cloisonné enamel charger or large dish with flowers and a flying bird against a mustard yellow ground, the back with a swirl pattern. Late Meiji or early Taisho, c 1900. Diameter "12/ 30.3 cm, height "1 ½ / 3.7 cm. Condition: a damage to the backside enameling (c f last photo). Interestingly, it shows the kind of marker used to indicate the design where the cloisonné metal straps were to be soldered onto the base. A French footed cabinet cup and saucer with painted decoration, the cup with a fox, the saucer with a rocky landscape. Marks for Flamen-Fleury, Paris, 1820-35. Height 4”/10 cm, diam. of saucer 5 ¼”/13,5 cm. Condition: Fine, except for some rubbing to gilding, esp. inside the cup.

A German 1820's cabinet cup and saucer with burnished and matte gilt decoration of Karl Friedrich Schinkel’s new theater building in Berlin, inaugurated in 1821 and nowadays concert hall. Inscribed “Das neue Schauspielhaus in Berlin”. Height "4½/ 11 cm. Condition: rubbing to the gilt on the saucer and inside the cup (cf. pics.).

SOLD An underglaze blue transfer printed porcelain mug in the “Fisherman” pattern with a loop handle circa 1790. Marked on the bottom with a transfer printed “S.” 3 ¼ inches tall, 3 ¾ inches across the handle.

Condition: no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Good clear printing of the pattern in an even blue.

Nice example of a popular pattern that Caughley used on numerous different pieces of porcelain.

Three early 19th century (c 1810) coffee cans decorated en grisaille with accents in red: the first with a mansion and a gentleman in red clothing passing by carrying a fishing rod, the second a cottage and a romantic mediaeval turret, an old man in red passing by leaning onto his stick, and the third with a small country church, a farmer in red clothing passing by carrying his tools. All three cans Belgian (Vieux Bruxelles) or possibly French (Paris porcelain). Height: 2 ½”/6,5 cm...

The perfect server for caviar, toast points and accessories! This antique piece is a fine Victorian engraved crystal server was originally purposed to hold crackers and cheese, made by the Pairpoint Corporation in the "Butterfly and Thistle" pattern, circa 1909, consisting of a round plate for the crackers and an attached dish for holding the cheese, thick base enhanced by a forty-eight point radiant star; Measures 9" d x 2 1/2"h, dish is 4 1/2"d, Excellent condition and beautiful.

A French carving set; knife and fork with silver handles, beautifully engraved and crafted. Made in Paris in the 1880’s, in the classicist Louis XVI style so much “en vogue” at the time. The fork made of ivory or bone, the sharp steel blade of the knife marked Paris. Minerva head hall mark and maker’s mark of a bird, possibly, and E. Length of knife "13¼/ 33,5 cm. Condition: the little knob of the fork seems to be replaced, otherwise fine.
