A large pair of European 19thC porcelain figural centerpiece swan bowls. Made as dining room table decorations with an open center for flowers, fruit, etc., these large and beautifully detailed swans are possible German in origin (both are unmarked). They measure 12-1/2" long and they stand 10" high; they are finely detailed and are in a simple white glaze. They weigh approximately 4 pounds / a bit under 2 kilograms each...

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Franziska Hirsch Dresden studio around 1900. The saucer has a diameter of 4 3/16 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The set is hand painted in fine detail. There are scenes of lovers in landscapes surrounded by garlands of colorful flowers. The rims are trimmed with delicate gilding. Condition: The rim of the cup has slight fading to the gilding mentioned for accuracy. It is hardly noticeable.

A graceful stepped strap-handled pitcher of lead glass, featuring trailed threading at the rim, and engraved "RFE" with vines above ribbons, the reverse with flowering vines.

The condition is excellent, with no flaws to speak of. Good color and tooling. Snapped rough pontil. The height is 7 1/4".

Exceptional copper vase with bronze coiled QILONG Dragon and stylized base. 18-19th Century China. This most attractive Dragon is removable, has a stylized humanoid face, a fancy tail and the head has scales on top. Good condition, Size: H. 31 cm x 15 cm base. An oval and domed porcelain plaque with enamelled flowers in a gilt and Bleu Céleste framework. The ”heavenly blue” colour was a speciality for Sevres in the 18th century and revived in the 19th during the reign of Napoléon III. The gilt flower wreath is tooled, to show the texture of the little flower petals, and the large flower motif is excellently painted. This covered vegetable dish was produced in France by Pouyat Limoges around 1900. It is 11 1/4 inches long, 8 inches wide and 5 1/2 inches high. The porcelain has molded poppies and scrolled edges and handles. It is decorated with art nouveau chrysanthemums. Heavy gilding is profusely used on the rims and handles. Delicate gilding is used to accent the design and to trim the borders. Condition: Excellent

Handsome pair of sterling silver ice tongs in the "John Winthrop" pattern by International Silver Co. This is one of the classic American Colonial patterns developed during the early 20th century when people were first beginning to be interested in American antiques. Curiously, the simple design was also a perfect match for the upcoming Art Deco styles of the 20s and 30s. Ice tongs were an uncommon serving piece and are very difficult to find today...

These 11 porcelain plates were produced in Germany by Meissen in the late 19th century. They have first quality crossed swords markings under glaze. The plates measure 9 3/4 inches in diameter. A very fine antique Baccarat glass paperweight featuring a Type III pansy and bud. A pair of dark purple petals and three amber petals with purple stripes and spots surround a central bull's-eye cane. The design is completed with bright, finely formed leaves and a bud. The paperweight is further enhanced with a star-cut base, and most unusually, fluted facets along the perimeter. This faceting pattern is very rare in antique Baccarat weight...

Offered is this large cameo glass vase made by Val St Lambert in the early part of the 20th century. The vase is cameo-cut and then enameled in gold with the spider mum decor. Lovely Victorian sterling silver bonbon spoon featuring a matte-gilt bowl with a scalloped edge. The asymetrical rococo design of the handle was popular in the 1890s. The back is marked "925 Sterling 1000". Before 1916, many American silversmiths did not mark their names on flatware. Unknown maker.

An extremely rare and striking c1754 Chelsea cup and saucer. The bell bowl with loop handle features a bird on a leafed branch, with several insects around the girth of the cup. The saucer is similarly decorated.
