Beautiful 12 inch tall rose pattern signed “Locke Art” vase. The vase has a rayed pattern on the underside of the foot and an etched dentil pattern on the rim. The vase is 4 1/4 inches in diameter at the base and top while the main body is 2 7/8 inches in diameter. This rare form is in wonderful condition.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Doulton Burslem in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 ¼ inches and the cup is 2 ¼ inches high. The set is made of bone china. The porcelain is molded in a kind of repousse with berries and leaves all over the surfaces. The leaves are flow blue under glaze and the berries are gilded over the glaze. The veins in the leaves are hand gilded. The rims and handle are trimmed in gold...

A fine and rare English Georgian period wine glass rinser, beautifully engraved with an armorial crest of a crowned leopard rampant. The rinser is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or other flaws. It has a wide polished pontil and is 3 7/8" tall and 4 7/8" in diameter.

Large old Chinese rosewood stand on 5 small feet. Well constructed, it is very sturdy and will hold a lot of weight. There appears to be a repair on the inner bottom, but when we tried to move the piece in question, it would not budge. Therefore there are absolutely no condition issues with this stand. Measures 3.25" (8.9 cm) high, and about 8.5" (21.6 cm) diameter (see 2nd photo).

A fine Georgian wine glass with a multiple-spiral opaque twist (MSOT) stem below an ogee bowl. The stem has a flattened shoulder knop and a basal knop. This knop configuration, combined with an uncommon twist type, makes this glass quite unusual. Conical foot with a rough, snapped pontil. Good color, tooling marks, and striations.

The condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks, hazing, or restoration...

A large antique German Westerwald salt-glazed stoneware pewter-lidded jug is a magnificent piece primarily used for beer or wine. It showcases a striking cobalt blue decoration on a grey stoneware body, which creates a visually appealing contrast. The intricate design and craftsmanship are evident in the detailed cobalt blue patterns adorning the jug.

This porcelain cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Richard Klemm Dresden Studio in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches and the cup is 3 1/4 inches high without the handle. It was probably used to serve hot chocolate. The cup features an Empire style handle. The set is hand painted with cartouches containing Watteau scenes in Meissen style. The rest of the cup and saucer is covered with fine, lacy gilding...

This porcelain chocolate pot was produced in the US by Willets Belleek in the 1880s. This is a factory decorated piece. The pot measures 9 3/4” high and is 5 1/2” from handle to spout. The handle is shaped like a dragon that wraps around the pot. The body of the pot has a creamy ivory hue. It is hand painted with two colored gold. Some of it is shiny and some of it is matte finish. Ferns, leaves and blooms are painted with raised enamels you can feel...

Wonderful pottery candlestick decorated in an underglaze blue floral transfer and clobbered with overglaze iron red, yellow, and purple pigments. The effect is much like chintz china, but with stronger coloring. The bottom is marked with the registration number indicating the piece was designed in 1913 and bears the mark used by Cauldon Potteries from 1905 to 1920. It is also marked "Grip", probably referring to the very uncommon form...

This sweet little brown and red doll quilt is in exellent condition with just a little fraying on one edge...see close up. I like to see signs of age like this because it shows it really old. When fabric has been folded and washed and ironed the folds start breaking down the fabric, sometimes aging is a good thing. The quilt is 6" square and is backed with a double pink calico.

This porcelain vase was produced in England by Copeland in the mid-19th century. It has the name Copeland impressed in the porcelain. The vase is 9 1/2 inches high. The porcelain is fine, white bone china with a high gloss glaze. The vase is trumpet shaped with high relief decoration of trees and branches. There are three dolphins supporting the vase in the center. It is all supported on a triangular base of three feet...

This is an outstanding American sterling silver repousse napkin ring in the style of Kirk although the mark is too worn to distinguish, ca 1880, heavily repousse with centered monogram GLJ, Wt. 18.9g; Condition is excellent; Measurement: 1 5/8 in. diam. x 1 in. high.

A set of eight sterling silver fruit spoons in Gorham’s elegant 1910 “Buckingham” pattern. The handle is bordered by a series of intertwined scrolls before terminating in an acanthus leaf motif. The backs of the handles have decoration mirroring the fronts. The pattern is extremely similar to “Chantilly” and could easily be used with a Chantilly service. The backs are marked with Gorham’s early 20th century hallmarks.

All the characteristics that make Parsell so sought after are present, from the folky treatment of the face, the frizzy hair, and the accessory point of interest, in this case the book. The sitter is Dye Brewer, of Edenton, Chowan county, NC, and this painting descended in the family to a direct relative, a Mrs. Morris of Houston, TX.
