A nice Griffin, Smith & Hill majolica pitcher in the "Wild Rose" pattern. The bulbous sides are decorated with yellow wild rose blossoms and green foliage against a stippled ivory background. The base has a medium-blue basketweave pattern and the lip is finished in a reeded pattern in the same shade. The pitcher has an applied twig handle and a butterfly forms the pouring spout. The interior is pink.

A 19thC Farrar Batiscan Quebec 4 gallon handled wine jug or crock, for the Marchand & Co spice, wine and liquor merchant. This 18-3/4" tall handled salt glazed stoneware jug still has the cork and it is completely hand thrown. It has a blue floral design identical with other known Farrar examples and it has a blue-wiped impressed legend stating "MARCHAND & CO MARCHANDS EPCIERES VINS ET LIQUEURS BATISCAN 4"...

Eight(8) American Porcelain "K T & T, Knowledge, Taylor & Knowledge" from from "East Liverpool", "Ohio" Dessert Plates, Pre 1900, 8" diameter, with hand painted Bouquets of Flower design, marked "K. T. & T. China." and pattern date and numbers in green on the back. There are some glaze stains on the bottom in some of the plates but front decorated surface shows in good condition.

A beautiful, early (C; 1887) Rookwood pottery nut-dish, signed by artist. The dish is 6 inches long, 4 3/8 inches wide and 1 3/8 inches high. It is in good condition (expected age-related crazing). Properly marked on bottom.

A 19th century 8-3/4" majolica begonia leaf plate. This decorative pottery plate has yellow, brown, pink and green colouration and it is marked with only a glazed 20; it is in very good original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor wear spots, overall crazing and light staining (see pictures)...

An stoneware cheese keeper or dome decorated with Bamboo and Trellis motif consisting of black enameled trellis surrounded by leaves and cherry blossoms in pink, green, and ochre. The base of the dome and the handle continue the bamboo motif. The exciting feature of the dome is its orange peel texture which adds additional interest to this Aesthetic Movement work of art. Outstanding majolica pitcher in the form of an owl. Modeled by the George Morley Co., this pattern is an icon of American majolica production. The colors are very nice, including the medium-pink interior. Unsigned.

Terrific American majolica dish in the form of a fish. The painting on this example is especially nice, with very lifelike colors. The modeling is very crisp and clean. The back has a decorator's mark, but no maker's mark. It is possibly a product of Griffin, Smith & Hill. Perfect condition. Circa 1880. 7-1/2" x 10".

Rare Rockingham hound handled pitcher with molded scenes of stag and boar hunts and a grapevine design decorating the neck. Attributed to the Salamander Works, Woodbridge, New Jersey, 1840-50...

A beautifully worked quilt with the "Star of Bethlehem" design, surrounded by stuffed-work flowers and vines; 87" by 81". Excellent condition.

Produced in the late 1800's, this historical Venetian glass vase is constructed with filigrana reticello and filigrana retortoli (zanfrico)with aventurine. Similar design can be found in Rossella Juncks' "the Colors of Murano in the XIX Century", page 136. Diminutive in size at 3"h x 2.5"w, this historical vase is in excellent condition, unmarked.

Measures 9 1/2" high, and roughly the same from tip of spout to end of handle, base is 5 1/2" wide and 4 1/4" deep. Beautifully engraved with foliate and scrolling designs, an oval cartouche on each side. Beading at base and top, bone finial, bone inserts on handle. Handle wobbles a bit, but is firmly affixed with visible wire. Lid fits tightly, no leaks or damage. Base is well marked, and appears to date the piece to the period between 1842 and 1864...

An unusually nice silverplated studs box, the top decorated with repousse chrysanthemums. The only clue to the box’s purpose of holding a gentleman’s shirt studs and cufflinks is the figural stud finial on the top. The bottom is marked for the Middletown Plate Co. This is a much more decorative example than most.

Origin: America, 1876-99. Condition: excellent, hardly any wear to the plating. Size; 2-5/8” diameter; 1-3/4” tall.

Pair of Edwardian Classical silver-plated wine bottle coasters. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Each: Round well with concentric rings. Sides have open scrollwork. Flared rim with applied scrolls and scallop shells. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 11743 (first produced in 1893), director’s letter T (1892-1902), and phrase “Silver-Soldered-E.P.”. Very good condition.

A superb and very heavy quality silver plated fruit bowl with high relief designs and scrolling c1890, made by E.G. Webster & Son of Brooklyn, New York. This bowl measures 12-3/4 x 10" and it weighs an impressive 1 lb. 14-1/2 ounces. It has the crown, lion and Prince of Wales feathers marks and a 154 pattern.
