A superb Derby porcelain coffee can displaying a wrecked ship and rescue efforts. This can was painted by George Robertson, whose depictions of ships and maritime scenes are among the most highly sought after and collected items of Derby porcelain. This particular scene, named on the bottom in blue script, is "A Shipwreck After a Storm."

The gilding on the cup, both in the interior leaf and berry border, and throughout the exterior of the can, is of the high quality that Derby was known for...

A beautiful set of twelve Bow porcelain knives, each decorated with flower sprays and a fuzzy caterpillar at the end of the handle.

Knives of this type and date can be found occasionally as singles, pairs, and rarely, as a set of 6. However, this is the first set of 12 that we have seen or encountered in 25 years. Unusual Victorian porcelain scent bottle in the shape of a clam shell. The silver lid is stamped with the hallmarks of Sanders and Shepherd and the date letter for 1889. The bottle is 2" high by 1 1/2" wide and 1 1/4" at its deepest.

Delightful Bilston bonbonniere in the shape of a lion. These enamel on copper boxes were used to hold small hard sugar candies. This adorable lion measures approximately 2" in diameter and 1 1/4" high.

Classical pair of Jackfield Ware candlesticks with turquoise colored Roman figures on a black background. This pottery was first made at Jackfield, Shropshire, England, in the 18th century with a red clay body often decorated in relief and distinguished especially by its thick black glaze. These elegant candlesticks date to 1860 and would grace a mantle or dining room table.

Antique 18th -19th century Sino Tibetan Small Bronze Figure of Guanyin Quan Yin Antique, 18th -19th century, Sino Tibetan bronze figure of Guanyin Quan Yin, finely cast and skillfully hand chased, depicting a bodhisattva seated in dhyanasana, on a lotus base, and the hands, that are in dhyanamudra. She is dressed in layered robes wearing a jeweled necklace and elaborate crown.

MEASUREMENTS: Height: 6.5 cm (2.5 in)...

This doll is a tough little cookie. She is heavy and round and firmly stuffed with rags and something else that add up to being heavy for her size. She has spindly arms, very sturdy legs with fabric boots sewn on. She is all stockinette. Her slip and panties are sewn on. Her dress is a red calico print and is mended on the front with a red panel and one arm of the dress is badly torn. Her face has with button eyes and a pinched raised nose, and a very tiny red embroidered mouth...

A fine example of mid-Victorian Naturalism. This is a silver plated egg stand in the form of tree branches, with the English registry mark for 1871. This set consists of the four silver plated 2-3/8" high eggcups and the cast metal 5-1/2" tall handled base with branches and leaves. The base measures 4-1/2" across, it has branch supports for four spoons (not present), and it has the registry mark on the bottom...

A rock solid play doll with a red calico dress an a blue calico bonnet. She has sturdy little legs and arms. Her face is blank other than her shoe button eyes. Her arms are jointed but her legs are not. She can be persuaded to sit. She is 16" tall and circa 1900-1920 She is a very sweet played with doll.

A very early pair of child's shoes hand sewn and pegged and nailed. The shoes are fragile but one is much better than the other. They are early enough that the soles are identical with no difference in right and left shoe. They are 6" long and 3 1/2" tall. circa 1830. These early shoes are hard to find and look wonderful with a textile collection.
