A beautiful, large Peachblow glass bowl, made by New England glass company around 1890. The bowl is 7 1/2 inches in diameter and 3 inches in height. The non-cased glass bowl is in excellent condition, without chips, cracks or repairs. Polished pontil. Unsigned, as expected - a similar bowl is shown on page 125 of John A. Shuman III's book, 'American Art Glass', 2nd edition (shown in last picture here for your convenience).

English Transferware Pink deep Plate, Ca. 1850, 8 1/4" diameter, 1" high, marked "Woodland" in the double oveal shape circle, mpressed mark beside, rest of the markings are unable to identify, three(3) cows in front of tall trees with Grape Vine Rim design, it is a beautiful pleasant scenerey. The Vũng Tàu shipwreck is a shipwreck that was found in the South China Sea off the islands of Côn Đảo about 100 miles from Vũng Tàu, Vietnam in 1692. A fine Victorian sterling silver sugar sifter with a medallion handle, possibly by George Sharp. Rather than the usual relief medallion, the handle features an applied medallion of considerable depth and detail looking straight forward. A hand wrought sterling silver desk set from F. Walter Lawrence, probably in collaboration with Gustav Manz. The desk pad measures about 22" by 15". Silver inkwell box measures about 5 1/2" by 3" by 3 1/4" and weighs over a pound without the glass inkwells. Silver pen tray measures 7 7/8" by 3 1/4". Signed on bottom of pen tray, as shown. Condition is very good, except for chips on the glass inkwells. Fine quality and rare.

A fine example of mid-Victorian Naturalism. This is a silver plated egg stand in the form of tree branches, with the English registry mark for 1871. This set consists of the four silver plated 2-3/8" high eggcups and the cast metal 5-1/2" tall handled base with branches and leaves. A fine mid-19th century French silver tastevin (wine taster), the base inset with an 1810 Italian silver coin from the reign of Emperor Napoleon I as King of Italy. The bottom edge of the bowl is decorated with curved, scalloped "godrons" which were intended to reflect light through white wine to judge clarity.
