Pair of Japonesque sterling silver open salts. Made by John C. Moore for Tiffany & Co. in New York. Round with open rectangular bracket handles and straight foot. Engraved overlapping seals decorated with modish motifs, including fan, bug, vase, and bamboo. Foot decorated with acid-etched spirals and lunette-form flower heads, and pierced leaves. Union Square mark (1870-5) with pre-1875 pattern no. 3007 and order no. 901. Very good condition.

German Nymphenburg porcelain Soup Tureen and Cover, 13" wide with handle, and 9 1/2" diameter-top rim, 8 1/2" high, with applied three(3) dimensional Apple knob with branch of leaves, and molded Rococo style handles. Hand painted two(2) blue bouquet flowers in 2 or 3 different shades of blue, smaller bunch of flowers spread out in several areas, some are on top of the molded basket weave design borders...

A large English Victorian cranberry glass epergne consisting of four scalloped trumpets with applied rigaree rising from a scallop edged round tray. In excellent antique condition it measures 20 inches high, 9.5" diameter of tray. Circa 1885. More photos available.

Silberiris glass vase by historic Loetz with engraved silver overlay. Globular with pinched shoulder and ruffled turned-down quatrefoil rim. On front overlay in form of loose and fluid blooms on entwined and whiplash stems. Back plain. Glass iridescent yellow, green, blue, and purple. Shimmering turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau. Pontil mark. Excellent condition with nice patina.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Bodley between 1870 and 1882. The saucer measures 5 1/4 inches long and 4 3/4 inches wide. The cup is 2 1/2 inches high and 2 1/2 inches in diameter. The cup has a puffy, blown-out shape with molded panels. The saucer is heart shaped and also has molded scrolls in the porcelain. The main color is greenish turquoise. Brightly colored, hand painted flowers fill the panels around the cup and surround the interior of the saucer...

A lovely pair of imperial Russian spoons, the backs of the bowls decorated with finely engraved scenes depicting portions of the Arsenal and the State Historical Museum on Moscow’s Red Square. The handles are finished in the traditional twist motif. The surfaces are gilt, and the engraving is worked through the gilding in some areas and more lightly in others, allowing a nice contrast of colors within the design...

A very nice pair of Staffordshire spaniels highlighted with gilt decoration. Each dog wears a collar with a padlock and a chain. The muzzles are decorated with pink and black overglaze enamel, and the eyes are set with glass eyes. Both have the whimsical "Joan Crawford" eyebrows. Spaniels with glass eyes, although a bit later than some of the other Staffordshire figures, are difficult to find.

Six lovely Victorian sterling silver cocktail forks decorated in a pattern of roses and foliage. The backs are also decorated and are hallmarked with a 4-leaf clover, but I cannot identify the maker. They are also marked "Sterling Pat. '92[1892]". Very nice quality.

An elegant Georgian antique wine glass with an engraved round funnel bowl with a fluted lower half. The engraving has vines, clusters of grapes, and other fruit. The stem is a double series opaque twist (DSOT), comprised of a pair of 7-ply spiral bands outside of a multi-ply corkscrew. Conical foot with a snapped pontil.

The glass is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs...

A fine and unusual antique English drinking glass of Jacobite significance. The round funnel bowl is beautifully engraved with a rose, a bud to the right, a butterfly, and foliage. The stem is of the double series air twist type, quite uncommon because of the configuration of a pair of mercury corkscrews outside of a central cable. Conical foot with a rough snapped pontil. Lead metal with good color, striations, and tooling marks...

This porcelain toast rack was produced in Germany by the Richard Klemm Dresden studio in the late 19th century. It measures 5 inches long, 4 inches high and 2 3/4 inches wide. The porcelain is molded with rococo style decorations. The toast rack is hand painted with Meissen style flower decorations. The flowers are vibrantly colored. There are gilded accents and trim. It will bring charm to your table. Condition: Excellent

Offered is this beautiful antique French clock, with clock-works by S. Marti and statue made by L & F Moreau. The clock is 21 inches (53,5 cm) tall. Except for the pinky-finger on one hand of the spelter statue missing (see last picture), the clock is in good condition. There is no pendulum or key, but the pendulum-ticker ticks fine - so, perhaps the clock works fine. N.B. A large copper lustre jug / pitcher, both sides transfer printed with Charity as a mother with children, having pity on yet another child. Sunderland, England c 1830, unmarked. Height "5 ½ / 13.5 cm. Condition: a firing crack visible at the base and a glaze bubble to the Charity image to one side (cf. pics). A smaller Sunderland jug with Hope is presented in another GC offer (cf. last pic).

A superb pair of true Arts and Crafts stoneware pottery matched ewers in a rich chocolate brown colour, c1880-1900. The upper shoulders or these 7-5/8" ewers or pitchers are in a glossy glaze, and the lower body has a naturalistic matte glaze over a stippled style textured surface topped with a decorative linked band of semicircles. The glaze didn't quite flow to cover the interiors of the hand made spouts and the bottoms are unglazed. They are unsigned, but look and feel like English stoneware ...
