This pair of porcelain plates was produced in France in the late 19th century. They are 10 inches in diameter. They have hand painted portraits of Mme Pompadour and Napoleon. There is an artist’s signature Garnier on each one. The borders are celeste blue that are decorated with ornate raised gilding. These plates are highly decorative and will display beautifully. They are in excellent condition.

A French lavishly decorated urn-shaped vase with handles, c 1850 in Rococo Revival style. The foot and bowl in the classical manner have been made separately and are joined by brass and iron parts (extra photos transmitted on demand). The abundant decoration on front and back is matched by the brilliant blue of the undecorated sides. George V sterling silver covered urn. Made by Lionel Alfred Chrichton in London in 1916. Girdled urn with half strapwork on stepped domed foot; leaf-capped s-scroll sides handles. Cover double domed with vasiform finial and radiating strapwork. Strapwork chsed and engraved on stippled ground. A poignant tribute to the lasting popularity of Edwardian Neoclassicism in the dark days of World War I. Fully marked. Very good condition.

These 6 porcelain demitasse cups and saucers were produced in Germany by Meissen in the 1890s. They have first quality crossed swords marks under the glaze. The saucers are 4 inches in diameter. The cups are 2 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/2 inches. The cups feature a split branch twist handle. Each piece is decorated with hand painted sprigs of tiny flowers. They are accompanied by tiny bugs, painted in color and in gold. There are gilded accents to the flowers...

A Superb Pair of Sterling Silver Candlesticks by Jenkins & Jenkins of Baltimore, in business from 1908-1915 and successors to Jacoby and Jenkins (1894-1908). Dimensions; 6.25" high x 3.5" at the base. Unweighted (total weight is 11 Troy ounces) and in excellent condition.

Very nice 16: by 16" calico doll quilt all hand sewn. Some of the calico fabrics are great. The back is a stripe that kind of looks like ticking but is a little hint of floral. There is a batting in between the front and the back and stitched together with diagonal lines. Condition is very good, I don't see anything other than some minor age related discoloring here and there. I had it on the top of an old red blanket chest and it looked wonderful. I also hang them on doors and between windows...

A tour-de-force first standard (950/1000 pure silver) tastevin by silversmith Stanislas Pollet celebrating Napoleon’s great victory at the Battle of Wagram. The tastevin is inset with a Napoleonic silver medal surrounded by fleur-de-lis engraving. Two Georgian bucket bowl port or small wine glasses with panel-cut cups and stems, English, c 1800. One a little heavier than the other and with the pontil mark deep into the glass and partly visible, whereas to the other glass the pontil mark is polished flat. Height "4/ 10 cm. Condition: fine.

A Royal Worcester two -handled vase measuring 6 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter. The vase is fully marked with Mark 1 with the date letter W for 1885 and with shape number 1109. There is also an impressed mark with shape 1109 The vase is decorated with three different floral sprays and is in excellent condition.

Hexagonal box nicely decorated along the borders of the box. The top of the box displays a fine representation of St. Peter's square in Vatican City crafted with Venetian mosaics. A black onyx border surrounds the portrait. The inner part of the lid contains the inscription of C ROCCHECCIANI ROMA. Circa 1900.

A fine set of four wine glasses in the desirable emerald green color, of cup bowl form, each with a collar knop and a basal knop above a flattened knop. Lead glass, polished pontil.

No condition issues or restoration. 5 1/8" tall, with bowl diameters of 2 9/16" and foot diameters of 2 9/16".

A pair of extremely large antique English drinking glasses, each with a bucket bowl on a plain stem. Glasses of this size in this form are quite uncommon, and it is very unusual to find a pair. Good color, striations, and tooling marks. Rough snapped pontil.

Their condition is excellent, with no problems whatsoever. A museum label remains on the foot of one of the glasses. The height is 8", with bowl and foot diameters of 3 3/4".

Offered is this beautiful, 12-piece, coralene-enhanced glass set (6 glasses and 6 stems), made by Moser. The set is in good condition. Unsigned - almost certainly made by Moser, based on the coralene decor (please refer to Baldwin's book for similar coralene-decor Moser items).

German sterling silver lady’s shoe. Imported to England by Theodor Hartman in 1902. Shoe has pointy upturned elf toe and open bands. Exterior decorated with scrolls, flowers, and tassel in low relief. Heel plain. German hallmark and English import marks with London city stamp and date letter. Very good condition.

Unusual pretty little coin silver basket embossed on front and sides with flowers and is finished off with a gold rope tie. The top is ruffled or fluted with a rolled edge. Inside has a gold wash and is hallmarked "900 A K".

With a Latin inscription translated as "Under a clear sky France suffers", this 18K Carnelian fob seal depicts an African slave in profile, carved atop a family crest, all shown above a ribbon banner reading "PURUM PATIENTIA FRANCE". Notwithstanding the word "France" in the inscription, our wax seal fob is English.
