Three(3) pieces Japanese heavy weight Black Wrought Iron U Shape side Locks and Handles, side handles for 2 pieces Tansu(chest on chest), Tansu side handles for top piece, and use as a lock to the top piece from lower piece together as one(1) Tansu, 6" high, 3 5/8" wide=maximum outer measurement), 5 3/8" high, 2 5/8" wide=inner measurement).
Seven(7) pieces heavy weight Black Wrought Iron and Brass Japanese Tansu or Furniture Hardware, 2 handles with original nail(larger=3 3/8" wide inner measurement, 3 3/4" wide=outer, 1 3/4" high), (smaller=2 5/8" wide=outer measurement, 2 3/8" inner),1 1/4" high), corner(2" x 2" wide), round ring(1 3/4" diameter), small roung ring with flower shape back plate(ring=1 1/8" diameter, nail=1 1/2" deep), roung small nail(nail head=1/2" diameter, 1 1/2" deep), long brass piece(5 3/4" long, 1/2" wide).
Two(2) Japanese Black Wrought Iron heavy weight solid Tansu Chest Hardware or Drawer Handles, 2 different sizes, Larger handle with carved pierced Back plate(7" wide, 1 1/8" high=outer measurement, and original nail and hole(4 1/4" wide). Smaller handle only without back plate(5" wide outer maximum measurement, 3" wide(inner top measurement), 1 5/8" high maximum height.
Japanese Two(2) pieces U shape heavy Black Wrought Iron Side Locks, 9" high, 3 1/2" wide(maximum outer measurement, 8 3/4" high, 3" wide, (inner measurement), 1/2" thick, Pin(2 1/2" deep), this set looks like two(2) divided area to put through heavy wood Rod for both sides and carry on two(2) men's shoulder, one in front and one in the back, with original attached heavy duty Iron nails or pins.
A set of six cast gilt brass drawer pulls from the 1900 era or slightly earlier. Each measures 3-1/8 x 3" and they retain their original screws and washers; four are slightly curved and two are flat (probably for a bottom drawer). Each has traces of the original gilding and the loops on each have a red patina while three (two curved, one flat) have traces of red on the backing plates (possibly from a painted piece)...

A wall plaque with dancing putti and flower garlands, possibly depicting Spring in a suite of the four seasons. Plaster, patinated and polished to look like terracotta, possibly English around 1800, likely a Grand Tour souvenir. Unmarked, the back with two copper rings for hanging. Width "11/ 28 and height "5 ½ / 14 cm. Condition: a few glaze flakes to the left side (cf. pics).
Exceptional 19th century wooden plane with brass fittings signed and stamped in several places. Signed: 1) “Buck / 242 / Tottenham Ct. Rd.”, 2) “S.H.R.” 3) “Barnsley” and “I. Sorby”.
CONDITION: in very good condition, no repairs or restorations, nice showing its age and usage patina.

Late 19th century French round bronze plaque of Baby Moses. Quite heavy for its size, the plaque has 3 small drilled holes where it was attached to something. Has a wonderful patina that only comes with age. Measures 4.75" diameter and about 3/4" deep.

Jacobean or Tudor style Cast Architectural Element of Saint George slaying the dragon there are various paint traces throughout we date this at least Victorian if not Jacobean period. The material is some kind of lime plaster that is yellowish and not the normal white plaster we are accustom to seeing . This came from the Virginia house an incredible Jacobean style mansion that was donated in 1929 to the state by the Ambassador and his wife. H: approx. 7". W: approx. 7 1/2". D: approx. 2 1/4"...
An absolutely perfect 19th century cranberry glass encased with sterling silver cut work perfume dresser bottle. American, it dates circa 1890 and measures 6 inches high, 2.5" diameter.
A unusually large and massive 17th. century lock, possibly German.
A complicated lock with what looks like two keyholes and mounted on a studded iron plate, very heavy!
Size: 36 cm. wide and 31 cm. tall - which makes it the largest lock in the collection of European decorative ironworks that we're currently handling.

This is a pair of stunning, carved wood panels from 19th century China. The panels depict several characters in very high relief. The carvings are dark stained wood and the backgrounds are painted red. The photographs certainly do not do justice to these beautiful pieces. They measure 61 cm in length and up to 16 cm in depth.
