Solid split pedestal mahogany dining table made by Brown and Simpson of Boston in 1909. It measures 54 inches round by 29" tall when closed. There are six leaves, two with aprons. When opened with the two leaves that have aprons, it becomes an oval measuring 6' 3" inches long and looks like one large table as the center pedestal stays closed and the aprons make it look like there are no leaves...

As is all coffee tables of this type, this lovely marble turtle top table has been cut down to make coffee table height. It measures 21" tall x 36" wide x 26" deep and is in lovely condition.

Lovely American tiger oak server with bevelled mirrored back, two drawers over one long drawer over two doors with a small shelf between them. It has Queen Anne legs and the moulding on top of the mirror is curved, ending with small rosettes. Thie piece measures 45" wide x 56" tall x 22 1/2" deep.

The best Victorian bed we've ever had or seen, this half tester American bed, circa 1860, is absolutely beautiful. It measures 10 feet tall, 83 inches long and 68 inches wide. It takes a queen size mattress. Its in all original condition with the exception of the top having been recovered. Probably made in New York by Prudent Mallard.

Exquisite rosewood marble top center table crafted in the 1850s. It is attributed to Joseph Meeks, one of the top cabinet makers in New York of the period. This table is carved on all four sides, each side differently, with beautiful flowers. The knees are also heavily carved, and the center finial is a work of art in itself. The table has always been well cared for, and is in its original finish with the original marble top. It measures 30" tall, 41" wide, and 29" deep...

Heavily carved mahogany settee and chair with full winged griffons on arms, paw feet, and carved, reticulated tops. Probably by either Horner or Karpin. Absolutely the most beautiful American Victorian dresser I've ever seen! Made by Mitchell & Rammelsberg circa 1870, this mahogany dresser is 9'3" tall, by 60" wide, by 25" deep. It has three long drawers over another hidden drawer, and all interiors are maple. Pictured in Dubrow's book "Styles of American Furniture," there is one like it in the Newark Museum. The carving of a women's head at the very top is just beautiful. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

This rare and wonderful table was made by John Henry Belter circa 1850-1860. It has a white marble top, and four c-scrolled legs - each one different. There is a dolphin, an eagle, a boar and a hound. The table measures 29" tall x 42" long x 32 3/4" deep. A table exactly like this one sold at Neal Auction in 2003 for $50,000. This is a very rare and wonderful piece of Americana.

Lovely early 19th century two drawer drop leaf worktable, tiger maple with cherry drawers. The drawers are all chamfered on the bottom, and the piece measures 29" tall x 20" wide x 20 1/2" deep, and 39 1/2" wide when the leaves are up. It is in wonderful original condition.

Beautiful antique drafting table made by the Washburn Shops at the Worcester Polytecnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts, circa late 1800s. It has a black cast iron adjustable base with hand painted legs that are in perfect original condition. The height can be adjusted, as well as the top, which can be angled to any degree. Fabulous, huge, Rosewood American Victorian Renaissance Revival etagere. Embellished with marquetry musical instruments and flowers, this beautiful piece is in all original condition, has been in the same family since it was bought in the 1870s. It measures 10'2" tall x 7'3" wide x 24" deep.

One of the best back bars ever, this measures almost 12 feet tall and almost 20 feet long! It is made of cherry and walnut burl, American, circa 1880's. There are three leaded glass windows, two as cabinet doors, and one as center top, supported by marble pillars. There are no words to describe this incredible piece, and the pictures really don't do it justice, but you can get an idea. This wonderful bar needs to go into either a fabulous home, or a restaurant or hotel...

Beautiful solid mahogany partner's desk made by New York cabinet maker R. J. Horner circa 1900. The desk measures 30" tall x 53" wide x 33" deep. It is supported by four exquisite winged griffins who seem to be guarding whomever sits at it. There are two long drawers at the top, one opening at each side. This wonderful desk is in excellent condition and would definitely be the focal point of any room it sits in.

Lovely Renaissance Revival hall stand, circa 1880. It is walnut and all the decoration is burl. It will hold up to ten hats or coats, and has the original iron pans on the bottom. It measures 91" tall x 43" wide x 16" deep and is in beautiful condition.

This is a beautiful, unusual walnut and burl Gentleman's dresser made by Nelson, Matter & Company from Grand Rapids, Michigan. They were in business from 1870 to 1899. The whole piece measures 6'1" tall x 4' wide x 21" deep. The full length beveled mirror stands on the left side, and on the right is a four drawer dresser including a hidden top drawer and three other drawers. The top of the dresser is lovely marble. It has a partial tag still attached with the maker's name...

This is a wonderful tiger oak secretary with a cylinder roll desk. It is circa 1890, Eastlake, with chipped carvings throughout. Its not ornate - its beautifully elegant. It measures 92" tall x 36" wide x 22" deep and is in absolutely beautiful condition. It comes apart in two pieces for moving. The graining on the wood is the best of its kind.

Lovely set of eight American oak dining chairs consisting of two armchairs and six side chairs. They all measure 39" tall, and have paw feet in front.

A fabulous two section Japanese Sado Island Isho Tansu made of burl Keyaki wood with Sugi frame and Kiri wood interior dating from the Meiji period (c.1900), with beautiful forged iron fittings on a lacquer finish, all original and in top condition, 3 keys. Size: L 45.5" x H 45" x D 17"

A walnut bracket and shelf intricately carved with a panoply of Masonic symbols. The shelf portion itself folds flat against the back bracket, and is supported by a swing-out brace.

Pencilled writing on the back of this item says that it was purchased in 1938 and was believed to be over 100 years old then, which is probably about 25 years on the optimistic side. The shelf has been shellaced or varnished; 19" high, 10 1/2" wide, 6" deep.

An antique Chinese skinny bench made entirely of Elm wood. Having acquired an antique patina over the years of weathering and loving use, it is sturdy and ready for its next century of function.

Contemporary uses include placement at the end of a bed, behind a sofa or in an entryway for ease of removing ones shoes before entering a home.

A centennial pair of Federal style bench made mahogany stands. Truly fine specimens - each with shaped mahogany top over conforming figured mahogany veneered and beaded case. Each case with canted corners centering ring turned leg posts and with serpentine front. Each front with two beaded and line inlaid drawers each with two brass pulls. The mahogany legs, below the case, reeded and gracefully swelling and then tapering to high, turned feet...

From our European Collection, a very fine English oak refectory table, late 18th / early 19th century, hand-tooled from solid plank timbers and iron nails, using rustic style hand-carving for design motifs, and with crossbar support on the bottom. This piece has great natural patina to the wood that gives it wonderful character in addition to the charm of its obvious Olde Worlde masculine feel. An exqusite example of antique Chinese furniture with intricate carving and elegant proportions and design. All hand made with the extremly rare and sought after huang hua li wood. In excellent condition.

An antique Chinese wardrobe cabinet made entirely of Jumu wood. Large circular nickel/brass plate door hardware representing a coin which symbolizes wealth and prosperity. It was originally commissioned and made for part of a woman's wedding dowry. Two large doors open to reveal a spacious storage area with a removable shelf which can adjust to two levels. Below the doors are three drawers with looped handles and a hand carved foliated apron.

A Wonderful Mahogany Side Table Attributed to Merklen Brothers, NYC, with Twisted Legs and Stretchers and a Medial Shelf. Ball and Claw Feet and Lions with Rings at each Corner of the Top. Dimensions; 30" x 19" x 16.5" high. From 1880-1897 and in very fine condition.

This is one of the nicest pair of stacking bookcases that we've had, mainly because you can fit large size books in them. Each one is four stacks high, but they are much higher than the usual stackers, and the bottom two are also a lot deeper. Each of the top two sections measures 13" tall x 34" wide x 11" deep. Each of the bottom two sections measures 16" tall x 34" wide x 14" deep. The total of each bookcase is 70" tall x 34" wide. They have been refinished and are in excellent condition...

Beautiful early cherry two piece corner cabinet with the top door having 12 panes of original glass (one pane has a very tiny crack at the bottom of it). It is all mortise and tenon construction, and measures 88" tall 43" wide x 27" deep. Other than the one small crack in the glass it is in perfect condition and ready to go into your home.

One of the best tables we've ever had the pleasure of selling, this mahogany table is 60" round when closed. There are twelve leaves, each 9" wide, making the table extend to fourteen feet when completely open. There is a center for support when open. The center pedestal is heavily carved with acanthus leaves ending in paw feet. The table is circa 1870. It has been professionally restored and is in perfect condition.
