Exceptional George III bachelor’s chest in nicely figured mahogany with good color and patina, having a rectangular, cross banded top above an oak brushing slide and four graduated drawers flanked by canted, reeded corners and raised on straight bracket feet. Beautiful antique Japanese choba tansu, merchant's storage chest, all original finish with keyaki (elm) wood panels on the front finished in a medium brown, sugi (cryptomeria) wood frame finished with a black lacquer, iron hardware, safe box with two small drawers on the inside, Edo Period (early 1800's). Size: 33 1/2" high x 36" wide (37 1/4" wide including side handles) x 15 1/2" deep.

A Victorian Carved Oak Parlor or Occasional Table. Circa 1900. Dimensions 29.5" high x 20" wide x 15.25" deep. Some age spots but in fine condition.

A Child's or Doll's Victorian Rocker, ebonized and stenciled. There is modest damage to the cane seat. Dimensions; 23" high x 12.5" wide x 20" deep.

An antique Japanese Kuruma Bo Tansu (wheeled chest with locking bar) made of Keyaki (Zelkova) wood. All original hand forged iron hardware including the Warabite style handles. Two large drawers with two sliding doors below hiding 3 small drawers to the right and a spacious storage area to the left. Side and rear horizontal bars were designed for strength and visual appeal.

An antique Japanese large Osaka Todana Tansu (storage chest) made of Keyaki (Zelkova) and Hinoki (Cypress) wood. Two large sliding doors opens to a spacious area for storage. Mitered corners with mortise and tenon joinery and side slats incorporated for strength and support. Original bronze hardware.

An antique Japanese Negoro Choba Tansu (merchant chest) made of Hinoki (Cypress) and Suginoki (Cryptomeria) woods. Original hand forged iron hardware and Negoro Urushi lacquer finish. Complete with 8 drawers and 2 sets of sliding doors. The upper doors has a spacious storage area where the merchant stored his business records and books. The lower doors has books and records storage to the left and four small storage drawers to the right...

An antique Japanese Chobako (merchant box) made entirely of Hinoki (Cypress) wood. All original hand forged iron hardware. Two drawers where papers, documents and writing instruments were stored. Top carrying handle to easily move box from room to room.
