An antique Japanese large Osaka Todana Tansu (storage chest) made of Keyaki (Zelkova) and Hinoki (Cypress) wood. Two large sliding doors opens to a spacious area for storage. Mitered corners with mortise and tenon joinery and side slats incorporated for strength and support. Original bronze hardware.

Pair of Deco Era side tables with dramatic marquetry surfaces. Mixed hardwood in contrasting rosette pattern. The tables are square in form with sloped legs and Macassar Ebony veneer.

This absolutely beautiful set of American carved mahogany chairs is top of the line. They are Chippendale in style, circa 1900. There are acanthus leaves on the knees and ball and claw feet. The two armchairs measure 39" tall x 25 1/2" wide, and the six side chairs measure 39" tall x 22" wide.

A substantial 19th century French jardiniere. The shaped form of onyx with mellow patina. Each side with rouge marble panels supporting ormolu. The end panels round, also with champlevé and bronze doré. the side panels with cherubs decoration flanked by champlevé and bronze doré design elements. The jardiniere raised on paw doré feet...

This Prie Dieu has a very well executed carved central panel, and is unusual for its size and overall workmanship. A dramatic statement piece for an elegant environment.

Size and Condition: 88 inches tall, 34 inches wide, 30 inches deep. There are random age related stress cracks and rubbing, but no significant losses...

Early American Chippendale period tall blanket chest. 18th century. Size: 46 1/2 inches high x 41 inches wide x 19 1/8 inches deep. New England origin with a lift top above two faux drawer fronts over three real drawers, and retaining the original snipe hinges. Fancy cut-scroll bracket base and apron. Brass bail handles are replacements. A rare and early tall blanket chest in a blonde finish.

An original Edo Period Japanese single section Kannon Biraki tansu chest made of iron, kiri (paulownia) and sugi (cypress) woods. An assortment of drawers are neatly tucked away inside. Originally made to store textiles and traditional clothing. Pair hinged doors are lockable with original key included.
