Jerome's & Darrow Federal manner hand made shelf clock with wood works, Bristol CT. Provenance, Martin VanBuren Back, 1835-1920 (may already have been in the family for a generation.) We purchased from his direct descendant, David N. Back in the 1990s. We had the clock last serviced in 2006 and in good running order with reliable chimes. French Rococo and Louis XV features inform the design of these candelabra which sit on a a footed sinuous base with ornate embellishments from which rise intertwining stems whose sinusoidal arms support separately 4 sockets and bobeches. The finish is gold patination of which there is modest loss. The base is constructed of 3 pieces. Other than the previously noted finish losses, the candelabra are in very good condition. Some of the bobeches rotate freely.

Korean Joseon Dynasty 19th Century Polychrome Painted Wooden Oil Lamp Stand with attached original cut out Tin type gallery rim Metal top to hold the 19th Century White Porcelain Oil Pot, 7 1/2" high, 4" wide for Hexagonal shape Base, this is the Korean Shamanistic style Polychrome painted Oil Lamp. The condition is as found condition, White Porcelain top of oil pot has hairline on the side, some Polychrome paints are rubbed off and Tin Top is somewhat rusted inside the cut out gallery rim.
Antique Anglo-Indian carved sandlewood box with nail decoration, ivory banding, velvet lining and paw form ivory feet. Circa 1875.

This fascinating tobacco box dates back to the late 19th century and originates from Imperial Russia. The box is made of papier-mache, a material that was widely used in Russia during that time period. What makes this box truly exceptional is the intricate hand-painted design on its hinged lid.
The painting depicts a troika scene, which is a traditional Russian sled drawn by three horses...
19th Century French bronze hinged box with engraved sides. The lid featured a rooster made of very fine feathers under glass. Original lining. In excellent condition, this little treasure measures approximately 4 1/4" long, 1" deep and 3" at widest point.
With its original powder puff made with either cygnet (baby swan) or gosling (baby goose) down, this American brilliant cut glass dresser box measures 5" diameter, 3" high. The lid is sterling silver and does has some dents around the edges. The cut glass is perfect.
This fine small yellow enamel box is beautifully painted with a floral medallion on a white ground, interior with orange and blue floral sprays, base is signed with a crossed pair of blue crossed pointless arrows.
