This collection of old tortoise shell spoons were used by the Chinese herbal practitioners for gathering and mixing ingredients for Chinese medicines. They range from 3.5' to 5" and being tortoise shell the coloration varies from spoon to spoon.they can be sold separately or as a group. Additional pictures can be provided for selection.

A wonderful aide de memoir (carnet de bal) of brushed steel with gilded embellishments allowing a pattern of foliage to show through from the metal beneath. On the front, reverse painted on glass, is an extremely detailed scene of the Tuilleries, with the Louvre in the background. 3 3/4" by 2 3/8". Excellent condition.

In 1866 the name of this company was changed from the Mozart Watch Co. to the New York Watch Co. and was located in Rhode Island. Before any watches has been sold, they moved to Springfield, Mass. Pair of French heavy weight gilt bronze candlesticks with inkwell having banded agate cabochons. The agate stones were carefully cut with white stripe in the center of each stone to give the appearance of an "eye". Dating circa 1840, this desk set is in excellent condition and features a grape pattern. Candlesticks can be used separately when the occasion arises. In excellent condition, candlesticks are 8" high x 3 5/8" diameter. Inkwell measures 4.5" diameter 4.5" high.
