Well, this was recently acquired from the estate of a 100 year old resident. The nickel plated shaver is in very nice condition, complete with a blade and box that is lined in a purple velvet type material. The interior is labeled “ANTICOR – The Saftey Corn Shaver” and the directions are printed on the label noted on the bottom of the box.

The box measures 4 inches long and is in good condition.

This diminutive black basalt wax seal was made by Wedgwood in the late 18th C. as a protest against slavery and features Hercules. The condition is nearly immaculate with no defects to report. Antique 17th—or early 18th-century Russian or Ukrainian portable inkwell. It is made of copper alloy and has a unique flattened flask shape. The inkwell has a wide mouth and two loops on the sides used for hanging.

This Victorian walking stick boasts an ivory handle with a seated dog carved in relief. The dog has glass eyes and sits obediently. The handle itself is 4-3/8 x 1-1/4 inches and tops a rosewood shaft and 1-1/4-inch bi-metal tip. Overall length is 35-1/2 inches.

This is a very collectable walking stick featuring a dog coming out of the handle. Note the stones stacked behind the dog and the additional intricate carving details in the dog. A very fine stick. This piece measures 36"x 5" x 1". The ferrule measures 1.5", the collar .75". The handle measures 1.75" x 5" x 1".

Carved two part handle with three carved racing horses, each with amber glass eyes. Cane with brass fittings and mahogany shaft. Handle: 2 1/8" H x 4 3/4" L x 1 1/2" W. This absolutely wonderful pair of Victorian opera glasses are marked Lemaire Fabt, Paris. They were made in Paris, and date back to about 1880-90. They measure 4” wide and 3” tall when fully extended and were part of the extravagant Paris opera scene during the Victorian period. What a joy to be able to take them to the opera today.
