A lovely green hardstone amulet in the form of a double ostrich feather, probably New Kingdom, 16th.-11th. century BC.
The front is flat with a shallow central groove delineating the two plumes.
Size: 36-37 mm. tall. Substantial piece in hand.
Condition: Extremely fine.
Provenance: Formerly in the private collection of Eberhard Hanfstaengl (1886-1973)...
A very large amulet of the Wedjat or Wadjet type,
'The Eye of Ra', Late period, 660-332 BC.
Nicely glazed in three differnet colors and with horisontically drilled loop.
Size: 53 mm. long and 33 mm. tall.
Condition: About Very Fine, basically intact but with minor losses and wear to the glaze.
Ex German private collection T.R. (Düsseldorf before 1983). Comes with COA.

A finely polished and fully symethric Egyptian stone jar made of a type of beautiful chlorite stone, 3rd.-2nd. mill. BC.
The jar was used to hold cosmethics in the 3rd.-2nd. millenium BC. Nice marks of drill inside, recessed footring and a tiny rim also carved!
Size: 35 mm. wide.

A lovely large scarab, probably made in Canaanite lands of the Levante, Early New Kingdom 16th.-15th. century BC.
A beautiful carving of a large Lion attacking a rather small feeble Human with a spear. The Lion is here probably meant to represent the Pharao and the human, could be a Levantine warrior?
Very well carved base and with carvings on the back as well.
Size: 22 x 15 mm.
Condition: Near Very fine, large ancient ding to the back as seen in the pictures...
Interesting cross hanger, carved in a dark steatite stone, with white slip or glazing. The white cross form is inlaid with another red cross form in sandstone or ceramics and done with an extra cross bar. Christian Egypt, 100-500 AD, probably Coptic.
Size: 11,7 cm. tall and 9,7 cm. wide.
Condition: Choice and intact with wear to the white glaze and extensive patination.

A pair of ancient pendant from the Egyptian late-Ptolemaic Period, after 600 BC.
Both amulets are pierced horisontically to be worn as pendants. One is of the seated Bastet as a Cat (2,1 cm.), the other is a head of a human god or Pharao (2,5 cm.).

The scarab carved in a greyish type of stone, stylized type made to be placed at the heart of the body. The details of the head and front faintly incised.
Size: 55 mm. long and 34 mm. wide. Made of a heavy type of stone.
Condition: Good very fine for type, finely patinated.

This barrel-shaped ‘Fustat bead’ is made of six sections of spiral mosaic cane laid next to each other longitudinally in alternating directions, creating a zigzag effect. The striping is the same in all cane sections—wide black, thin red, wide brown, thin red—only the direction changes. The core of the twisted cane sections, visible in cross-section at the ends of the bead, is translucent pale green. There is no core bead, the cane sections themselves were shaped into a bead...
