Attractive Djet pillar amulet in green faience, late period, c. 7th.-3rd. century BC.

Size: 23-24 mm. tall.

Condition: Very fine, Intact but with hairline repair at the middle.

Provenance: Formerly in the private collection of Eberhard Hanfstaengl (1886-1973). He was a famous German Art director and head of the Berlin National Gallery as well as other higher positions. Educated as Art Historian. Comes with COA.

A lovely green hardstone amulet in the form of a double ostrich feather, probably New Kingdom, 16th.-11th. century BC.

The front is flat with a shallow central groove delineating the two plumes.

A fine Grecco -Persian bronze spearhead, later 1st mill BC.

The blade with slim shoulders and central midrib. The sharp edges of the blade slope into a long, folded conical socket with an opening at the back and a straight.

Size: 34,5 cm - socket is about 18 cm.

Condition: Choice - cleaned somewhat hard, but still with nice red and green patina, as shown on photos.

A lovely large Assyro-Babylonian stamp seal with a particlarly interesting shape, carved of fine smoky grey calchedony, c. 9th.-7th. cent. BC.

The scaraboid is carved almost like an oval hat with a pointy raised center and sides tappering inwards. The engraving on the base is of a large seated winged animal in the drill style.
