Extremely rare Roman stone fragments of a Sarcophagus.
Dated from, 100 - 200 AD
Measurements: Height: 17 cm - Width: 20 cm / Sides: Height: 16 cm - Width: 10 cm - Height: 16 cm - Width: 10 cm.
Condition: Intact as excavated. Not repaired and not restored.
Excavated in Hebron south of Jerusalem, Holy Land. All items that we offer for sale come with a certificate of authenticity.
This is a nice piece. It's a large, weathered limestone button scarab which dates to the Late Period in Egyptian history (circa 600 B.C.).
Measures: 1.2" in length.
Condition: Intact with obvious water abrasion to the surface.
Provenance provided to purchaser.
For your consideration is this fabulous and large, 18th Dynasty, New Kingdom, black steatite scarab. Not a burial placement, this scarab would have been worn by someone as a talisman during everyday life, as evidenced by the even polishing over the surface.
Item measures 25.58 mm (1 ") in length.
Condition: surface polished by natural wear. Item is intact and choice with inscription on the underside...

The back is supported by a full dorsal pillar and features a completely intact suspension hole. The figure is worn, but is likely of the standing god Horus, in falcon form. The lower portion of the figure has been lost as well, however the amulet still measures a splendid 1" in height...

A very unusually and rare early security padlock from a strongbox, probably late 16th. century.
Perfectly working lock with original brass-soldering or coppering at the base. A heavy lock with a specially produced brass and iron key with elaborate slot for the period - very rare.
Size: c. 115 mm. tall and 61 mm. wide, the key is 103 mm. long.
Condition: Superb for this period, completely intact with fine brown patina.
